Deity change

Im not really sure where to go with this.

IC my Sorcerer was convinced by a cleric to join his diety, and the cleric welcomed him into the diety with his little ritual etc... I have yet to make the journal entry for this and will soon. But what are the steps to have my character moved over to this diety ? Im really lost on where to go/do to make this right/approved.
My character currently has no Diety.

I think it's fairly easy for a "non-divine" person to change deity...

If it's a big step you could request a CDQ to get integrated into the new church, but if it's a small change (to your character, maybe he has bigger plans in mind), you could ask for the change at the Character Submissions and roleplay your new beliefs ingame.

Please don't request a CDQ for changing deities. In this case, it's completely unnecessary.
  The most foolproof way is to make a post in your approved character thread and make the request. Since you apparenly have some RP that is guiding you that way, mention that and have the priest who mentored your character post there as well. Having supporting information in your Character Development thread is always good as well.
  For non-clerics and the undevoted, changing one's deity is not a big deal. If your character was a cleric, that would be a different story, and you would have to go through an amended approval process.
  After you post, you can contact a GM in-game and point them to your thread for confirmation. Tihs is an easy change to make.
