Thoughts of Elaugdor Cladd'neld

Since I have arrived in Hlint, my skills have improved, as I find myself now able to cast spelols of the first circle. My greatsword was of paramount importance when I finally tracked a criminal, who went by the name of Ratman of Hlint. He wasn't a skilled fighter, but the curse of lichantrophy made upon him increased his agility and strength, and as such I was seldom able to hit the bastard. My blade clashed a thousand times against his claws, but in the end I was the victor. Hehad beenaccused of stealing the town tax records, and I did indeed find them in the remains of what was once his corpse. I returned the book to lady Florah, and I received a generous reward for it, even though it was my moral obligation to accept her quest.
My mastery of the greatsword is improving, and I have been able to defeat some goblin scouts. Even though they were equipped with daggers, their small size and cunning gave them the edge on our confrontations. Luckily, my panther intervened just in time to save my skin.
