I arrived in Hlint today. Wow! People here are sure friendly and wear colorful clothing. I've met many friendly tall people along. And one person smaller than me!! I couldn't believe it. Her name was Mille Mooneyes. She even speaks my native tongue! She's been all around the world and is very good at hiding and playing tricks. She even taught me one, but that's a secret. And she helped me find a lost necklace for somebody. I sure hope to see her again some day.
I met so many nice people I don't even know where to start. Jil and Daren... I think they're married, lfion... he's a singer, Sho Tan... a great warrior, Angela, Jade... she smiled at me as she walked past and I didn't even know her. So I went over and introduced myself. I was so embarrassed. She was very nice to me and we talked for a while until she had to go pray.
Let's see, where was I? Oh yea... I also met Torvan... I think that was his name. He was a big dwarf who was trying to sing. I thought it was very funny, but it hurt my ears. I forgot.... Jil and Owen... I met him too... helped me and Ren, I met him too, find a ratman guy and return some kind of book to a lady in town. And then lfion helped me and Sho Tan destroy some undead.... ick. I don't understand how something can be dead and alive at the same time. This world is full of strange things.
While I was meeting all these nice people I practiced hiding and sneaking which is great fun. It's easier at night but I discovered that if I stay near things and their shadows it's easier too.
I'm sure glad I left home and got away from all that business, business, business. My parents and brothers can keep their business. I like adventuring and meeting new people much better. But there were a few people that were not nice at all. They weren't mean, mean. They just weren't very friendly. And somebody told us she was working to turn the world into dust! I asked her where we would live after that, but she didn't answer. She must not have thought of that.
I should get some sleep now. Oh, I forgot... Mille gave me some paper and ink and a pen and that was real nice. And ... I can't remember her name right now... Tyrian I think... she gave me a shiny ring. I like shiny things.
