Crafting Frustration/Mushrooms

Okay, I've gone to every machine I could imagine and can't figure out how the heck to powder the mystical shrooms. Okay, they're purple mushrooms, seems a tad mystical as I've never seen purple mushrooms. Yes, I tried using the equipment in the Surge to no avail.

Only a certain kind of mushroom can be powdered...and not the purple ones...and I'm pretty sure it's not a cooking thing.

Who knows, in very large quantities it might make him a little less grumpy.

Anyhow, where would one try to powder mushrooms?

Believe me, he did multiple times (and probably didn't get the answer because he's not about to ask Mages if he can help it)....but now I have the answer from a secret source.

There are places on the forums that tell you how... It's an alchemy recipie, with black mushrooms.
