I've got two characters here at the moment, Arwinath who was my first ever layo character, who I deleted and brought back, and Kurgaz, who I'm sure a lot of you know.

I'm not sure I would play Arwinath or anyone like him again, because he is most fun to use with the friends he is established with (Geir, Skarp, and a few others) and doesn't mix well with other characters, issues of trust and the like.

I've grown rather attached to Kurgaz now too (it's taken almost a year, but I finally got to level 15) but as I said in the other thread I'm not sure if I would want to play another Dwarf, it wouldn't be the same as playing him. If I were to play another Dwarf it would have to be a direct descendant of Kurgaz, maybe his grandson, and would probably be a similar character, although maybe a paladin build so I can be all zealous and the like.

I did have an idea for a Drow druid which I was keeping back for when layo swaps over to NWN2 (I have the bio written and everything) but with all the special restrictions for Druids on layo to do with weaponry and the like it wouldn't really fit where I was hoping to take the character, but I may consider that at some point.

I read on the bioware site earlier today that there is a new base class in NWN2 which will be a Warlock, so I may test run that when the game comes out and maybe come back to layo with a Drow warlock, sounds like an interesting character to me, and I've never had a mage-like character before, so that would be a new experience for me too :)

Edit: yes, I like Drow ;)

I love monks, and paladins.  Maybe a dwarven paladin?  The other idea I like is the Sacred Fist, I'll examine that for the future.  Really, with Honora being only 8 and all but guarenteed no epic levels at this point, I'm going to look to the changeover as my real chance to work a character.

I love playing Caldiir and being all sneaky like, so I may play something sort of like that only with slight changes.  Instead of going Rogue I would go Ranger and I would try to do Shadowdancer.  However, I recently started playing a Cleric and I am considering lpaying a Cleric of Baraeon Ca'duz because the RP would be really fun.

At this point I'm reall undecided on the class, but the race will for sure be Drow.

Wait... they're bringing in the Warlock?  OH SWEET DAY!!!  It better not suck.  They're my favorite PnP caster class currently.

I tried that once, it's actually an incredibly difficult character to play with. You end up being turned away from groups a lot. It's fun to begin with but it turns into a drag because you are playing by yourself almost constantly. Or at least I was...

Might play a Rogue/Fighter/Assassin (if possible) or Weapon Master. I want to model him on my Fav char of all time Artemis Entreri. It's a powerbuild sure but he will be RP'ed, I think I can say that with confidence. As for his personality it will be uniqely different from the before mentioned cahr. Can't have plagarism or clones now can we? I think Maybe an Indian feller or Asian. True Nuetral to begin with, kills simply because that is his job not for any pleasure. and in nwn 2 I'm definately sticking to one char.

Well as for Perago and Ama, they have kids, so I will most likely play a half elf, maybe a monk even, not sure of it yet though.

Probably play a ranger again, hopefully it will be much more likethe ranger class is suppose to be.
Perhaps a rogue or a cleric, but not 100% sure.
Jacchri and Dorena has twins, Lysira and Lythar. So I would probably play one of them ifJacchri is not around or a NPC :)

I have only been playing Layo for four months and really love it.  Except for MUDs and MAREs in the early ninties it is my only online, community gaming experience.  I really love one of  the characters I have created but no more so then great PnP characters I have had over the years.  Some of my PnP characters I played for many, many years in real time.  But eventually, they had to be retired.  I don't think I ever tried to recreate a favorite character down the road, I have always just tried new things.  With that in mind I will begin considering new character idea's for Layo/nwn2.  I haven't had  a priest in a while so... maybe I'll start there.  Fun thread to read. Thanks.

Yah I might play an Astrologer or an Artisan, maybe a Brigand, perhaps a Mystic, gee I dunno!

Hehe, just kidding, don't read anything into that :P

I think my choices will be designed around some of my friends' choices on their players...Had a nice idea about a halfling Paladin of Aeridin, or maybe just an Army General type fighter.  I don't think I can give up somewhat of a leadership role.  Can't seem to enjoy playing a follower.  We'll see!

Story of my life with most of my characters.  Noone wants to play with Cal right now anyhow...unless he pays them.  That's why you have friends!

I'm probably gonna go with Athus-good-healer type, and even more so if there's the option to go distant healing :) Really got annoyed with getting killed by all the AoO's
Would be neat to play Athus's kid (if he ever gets married stuffed inside that healing house all day)
    Spellcasting druids sounds good too.

      Ael will be back.  ;)

And a certain Quarvalsharessen Priestess will become known as well, though few will know whom she serves.

I'd play another monk I think, they're fun :) Or, if they do bring the warlock class, I'd get my fire-specialized, ubersized-ego one from PnP to NWN.

Daren and Jil have thought about having another child, and due to the way things work (at least in my own little head) he'll share Daren's name, so a partial clone.  And of course there's going to be Sharyn' still, and I've had thoughts of what to do with Jeran, and have come up with something maybe.

Barring that (or a miracle wish coming true), there's always the half giant rogue/shadowdancer :)

The way things are going for Lia right now she will never have a decendant, and though I wish her to eventaully gain eternal youth, I think when NWN 2 comes out I will want to hand her to the DM's.  Under their control she can accomplish so much more then she can with me as a player, as long as they stick to her goals being what I would want them to be for her and how she goes at acheiving them.

For awhile I hope to help with the content team if accepted when they open more spaces for it, which means no character for awhile, but when I decide its time for me to play a character again, I have a pretty nice rogue idea that I've been wanting to try for awhile.

I'd build either a cleric or monk. Not exacaly sure, though.
Still on hiatus.  I'm sure my original characters are long gone, too.
