The winds of war

a man dressed in brown leathers sits on the edge of a couch in deep thought. a piece of bread, some jerky and a few pieces of fruit are left on a small entable untouch. next to him are a matching set of swords. if you had the chance to examine them you would notice that even though both weapons are well used they are well maintain.
*rubbing his forehead he finally allows himself to sit back and think about the events of the day*
*the meeting with pig, goldy and sniverous went well today. pig am sure understands what is needed of him. even though sometimes its hard to get him to understand. but since he already has people working for him it won't be hard to have them start collecting the ore that is needed, as they produce the weapons and armor we can transport them to the guildhall for storage. (longswords, shortswords, battleaxes, pikes, hickory long and shortbows, shield and armors).
I think he understood that this is to be kept quiet, but even if he does talk most people already know that we sale and produce alot of weapons so it shouldn't draw any unwanted suspicion by the amounts that we will be arriving.*
*moving with the grace and speed of a attacking panther the man leaps to his feet, a dagger appears in his hand as he whirls around looking for a noise that startled him from his thoughts, he visibly relaxes. huh,, *i must be tired*
he sits back down after returning the dagger to his boot and thinks about his conversation with sniverous.
sniv sure was happy about what i asked him to do, considering its what he does, he is always invited to parties, so it shouldn't be to hard to get people to donate funds for our different projects, he will use the orphange as the cover story for the funds to begin with. am glad that path and i worked on that in the past and we still have the floor plans drawn up. am hoping that the funds will start arriving soon, not only will we be building the orphanges but we will covertly start recruiting and suppling the army. *shakes head and winces* i only gave him 2500coin but that should be enough to get the cloths and what ever else he needs.
*the man casually gets up and walks over to a cabinet, opens it and takes out a bottle. he closed the cabinet and returns to his seat. the smell of apples drifts through out the room as the man opens the bottle and takes a drink, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand*
*he chuckles to himself* goldy sure was surprised when i asked him to get his apprentices to start making 10000 healing kits.
but that is only the beginning of what we will need as this project comes to its ultimate conclusion. he shouldn't have any problem setting he people to making the kits and potions. (invis, speed, barksking and death armors).
i need to get a little sleep.

*quill and i managed to brief starr, talen and annalee on what there mission is. *the mans eyesbrows knit together in a troubled expression when he thinks of anna* starr caught on fast with what i tried to teach them. i hate sending them into this type of danger but it is absolutely necessary in order for us to be have any chance at winning this. they are to set up a working underground.
//the force will consist of 3 catagories of troops.
1. garrillas.. the strong arm of the group, the fighters
2. sources,,, those that will gather the intelligence, they can be anyone from chambermaids to barkeeps, shop and dock workers, anyone. the second part of this will be the assests, those are people that will actually do what we need done, it could be a wheelwright who puts on the wheels incorrectly on the wagon train that causes it to break down in 20 miles, or a dock loader that loads the wrong crates on a boat or sends them to the wrong destination, or even a guard who will look the other way at the right time. anyone can be a assest.
3. the insurgents, they will use subversion and sabatage as they main weapons, what ever targets we deem necessary//
i told starr we want info on the garrison that is station at karthy, the types of troops and the numbers of each, there equipment, armors, support, morale, training, schedules,
another aspect of intell that we need is the condition and morale of the local population of the citizens of karthy, how are they being treated. is it possible to subvert a portion of the population to our cause?
the third part of there mission is to coordinate with the operatives in the field to find out the locations and routes of supply trains and reinforcements, where are they getting there resouces from, how are they being shipped and to who. who is making them there equipment,, etc.....
its alot. but once the underground is trained and spread out things will become easier for them.
*the man sits back with a troubled look on his face while he thinks about annalee*
there is a knock at the door

*he rubs his temples while replaying what happened in his mind*
i don't know mith as well as others but he doesn't just walk into a room and ask if it is the bathroom. somethings not right here.
then he grills me about what we were talking about, the whole while being defensive of annalee. what is the connection between those two.
there is something she is not telling us.
i've always respected the power of magic users. but mith made a terrible mistake in that room last night. he allowed his emotions to outway his common sense, he threatened me about annalee, the mistake was threatening me in a small confined room within striking distance of my swords, especially considering he was completely unprepared. that isn't something a powerful and experienced magic user would do especially one that has seen me fight before, he must really care for her.
i need to find annalee now and find out what is goin on between them.

*as he enters his private quarters he takes off his boots, all the while he is thinking of what he has learned about anna and mith'
s relationship*
this may work out for us after all.
the main problem is anna's confidence in herself, we need to work on that, i will task her a few easy things to do. just some minor stuff to get her confidence up.
as far as mith is concerned, he won't betray us, that much am sure about, and he has already had a few good ideas.
*sits back and looks pleased*
