Writings and Speakings of a Natural Witch.

*written in her natural language of Elvish, translated in these journals for clarity*

I've seen days take strange twists and turns. As the humans of my hometown commented from time to time, 'Take them as they come and do what you can with 'em. The worst that can happen is you fail and have to start over.' I suppose there is truth to it, though not very eloquently put. Krandor is a nice quite town. Adventurers come and go there. My parents, and a few close family members live there. I grew up there as near as the wilds as I could be, yet still in civilization.

I have been called away however, and seemingly with Aeridin's blessing. I woke -in- a dream... A dragon stood before me. He called on me to serve a purpose, to work with the others he has called and end the war for freedom in the favor of our peoples. Wandering from our conversation I spoke with a few others whom validated my 'dreaming' and then I found myself before a statue. 'Make ready and enter into the trials,' he seemed to indicate.

And then, as if i simply woke, I found myself in a grassy plot, near a fountain and a lovely garden. Not far is a temple to Ilsare. I gathered what was left of my wits, and found the path that lead through town. I happened upon a man, who greeted me cheerily. Mister Nehestrev Llun, he is called. Gentleman in every sense of the word. He took time from his day and acquainted me with Hlint, showing me the town from his perspective and some of it's surrounding areas. Morakin's tower one place we visited, and the crypts of Hlint also. He indicated the crypts were unresting as they should have been. I find my first actions once arriving were to go there with Mister Llun and an acquaintance of his Mister Darsus, and put souls to rest there.

After a bit of exploration, and much conversation, I retired for some time to contemplate all that I have learned. I scribe now many new things I have worked through in my mind for my abilities. Drawing on the powers of the Cycle and Aeridin I have learned many new spells by listening to the ebb and flow.

*She scribes here some notes pertaining to elements to several spells. One spell she notes as armor of some sort she denotes as unworking, requiring of some component she has yet to discover.*

I write again of my adventures in Hlint. Mostly it is time spent in the Hlint Crypts putting to rest the undead. I did travel to Point Harbor on Rilara to drop donations for the Roldem effort, Mister Llun spoke to me of. The journey was long, but it was a good effort. I donated some bolts and a crosssbow. It wasn't much but what I was able to give. I had a couple of weapons on hand a Guard Captian needed in place called Llast. He's a few more he needs still.
I did find in the Wild Surge Inn a posting for a meeting of Aeridin worshipers, hosted by an Alleina and a Talen. I'm looking forward to attending.
*scribing further down in elvish are notes for some spells concepts, as well as their components. Below these notes is a small map of the temple of Aeridin, another of the city of Hlint and one other of the Crypts of Hlint*

I have met a most strange person. She is of the fabled sea elf cousins of my own race. She does not speak any language other then her own, which makes communicating very difficult. On the otherhand she seems to have a deep understanding of expression and body language. I hope she found she could trust me. In a world so isolated from her, she will need support in many ways. She is a wizard or witch, not certian, but i recognise some of her castings.
Also of note a paladin of Rofirien, a Servant of Lucinda and a gentle lady. All of these came to my assistance when I passed in the Peaks. By some strange happenings I was the only one to survive, due to my ability to conceal myself with the Weave and focus to complete the spell. I was able to help the paladin of Rofirien, Caighd, to return to his grave, but the other two brave souls opted to rest and meditate. Caighd again offered his assistance and we traveled to comeplete some of the items on my list of tasks. We found a place to harvest resources, and I will likely seek his help in returning there to gather them, this time equiped with the proper tools.
*Maps drawn of a cave and a section of forest. An incomplete map drawn of the swamp labled "Moores" as well as an incomplete map of a place labled "Peaks." Notated below is this:*
The Peaks are far too dangerous for my present abilities.. This will be the last time I trust those who guarontee success.

I relocate myself to the temple of Aeridin in North Point, on Dregar. I have made a new friend, Meira. She travels with me here to this temple. I stand guard, to ease the mind of my friend Caighd. With all of the changes, Blood's defeat, all of the work that must be done to reestablish order and peace... careing for those who have been injured in some way. Most of everything that needs doing is rebuilding and finding a way to cope with the changing world. I have faith in the cycle, that we will find a way. Although there was the war to defeat Blood, we did enjoy a time of plenty. Now we will experience our famine in the cycle of things.
Caighd has promised to return after taking care of some duties that he needs to manage. It seems much has happened in his world while he has been away, and he feels some requires his attentions. When he is able, or if the children we guard return to wakefulness, I will return to the Seilwood and area to continue to help as I can. For now, Aeridin it seems, has called me to this place to help defend it.

It has been many months since I arrived with Meira to guard this place at the Request of my friend Caighd. No danger has come upon this place but the horrid cold that seeps in. In normal times, such a cold would not trouble me, it simply seems out of place for the cycle of life. This cold will bring about a change in the world. I'm sure the farms suffer, resources dwindle, the very heart of nature likly. We must focus the our attentions on the heart of matters, nature, our families, life it self. All other will be affected as a ripple affect.
I look at Meira and am thankful for the visits from the Priest Quillwem, who acutally seems to be here more then away. I also look for the visits made by Caighd. He is such a nice man. I can tell his heart breaks for not being able to see these children. I sit outside with him and speak with him about the goings on in his absence. Truely it's not much, but as i describe each detail of the days he seems comforted to know all is as well as can be. Though I do not know his tie with these children, it is easy to see there is something there. I attributed some of his need to protect him as he is a Paladin of Rofirein, but there is something deeper there that I can not see. Something burried and with held. I hope that he finds his peace, allong with the cure to what ever ails these children. They appear as innocent angels, though there is scaring each will bare throughout their lives from the injury. Again, I cannot understand how these children came to be this way. I am not sure it is my place to ask. I pray to Aeridin for them, and I ask what ever powers that be in control of this to help Caighd find his center.
Meira and I both find moments of bordem on our task. It has been some time since I last returned home, and know Meira itches for excitement. I will write Caighd and ask him to send some relief our way for a short period.
*
a map of her home in Krandor is drawn here and much detail is added at several differnent times. Likly in fits of bordem details were added to fill time*

I am reminded that time passes differently for the various peoples. It had been some time since the last time Caighd and I had visited. I had not thought it that long, but time had certainly touched his face, and I think his heart as well. We spent time walking the lands together again. It was a nice feeling to work with someone to aid others.
Though there were dark places, places corrupt and needing of a cure. I fell... I let him down.... I am not certain which was worse. He is a good friend, it was a hard thing live with for a time. I hope that as I understand myself more, I will be able to aid him and others better.
Perhaps the touch of the Weave is not as strong in me as I had once thought.
*below is an rudimentary sketch of the the architectural lay out of Krandor's crypt*
