A little question.

Just a little sort question. When you craft rings I noticed once that I created an exceptional ring.   How can you create that? or is that just like with a normal ring but some roll of the dice that lets you create an exceptional ring.
  or is this a question that you guys can not anwser because it might spoil things?

Lets say you were "lucky".

If, when crafting, you roll a 20, then a second roll is made. If on that second roll, you roll high enough to successful make the item, then you make an exceptional item. If you fail on the second roll, then you get the normal item. Only some items have an exceptional version (rings, some leather items mostly).  See  this thread for the full story.
