Colored version op layonara map.

I have an idea based on the text I read ingame last night about Layonara entering the dark ages.   I can't finish the idea yet because I need a colored version of the compleet layonara world map.  So is there a collered version can anyone send it to me or show me the link to that page.

The old maps were colored, but they have been replaced by the parchment-like maps we have now...which are much easier to read.
  I'd mention though that as a result of the war, the aftermath and other things that what's on the map now may not be on the map later....or it may be called something different. Already places are changing. More changes will happen. Not sure what your target is, but it's possible that someone has the old-style maps somewhere.

 I noticed some of the changes. one being that path you normaly get when you log in for the very first time. I didn't see everything of it but the darkness looks cool.
 Anyway I already made some images with the idea I had. I think you already saw them Dorganath.

All I can say is 'stay tuned'. Maps are being worked on and will be released for nwn2.

I hope that the new maps will be more based upon what is actually there. As a newbie I once spent 4 hours trying to find the town of 'Luck' to the east of Hlint. I was killed by gnolls and swamp lizards and ogres and Kenku and willow wisps and some orcs. I felt sooooooo stupid when i was told it doesn't actually exist in game terms. I got a good grounding of the nasties on the eastern side of Mistone though

They will be world maps. You can not build a PW the size of this world and include every area--most certainly not with NwN. That is an unrealistic expectation. We will do the best we can with what we have and the time we have.

Perhaps the option is put features that(will) exist in one colour and the features that are background world information in another.

The existing map obvious has a rich history from the PnP games played *sighs and looks off dreamily thinking about how great it would be to walk through those places* but when i was new to layo, the existing maps proved confusing due to the difference between the downloadable map and the online world of Layo.

One of the quirks of modern cartography is that people believe maps to be gospel truth  - even if in hindsight you shouldn't trust a map with 'hyre be dragons' printed upon it!
