Problem with trying to view someone stats under friend list

I am trying to view the stats of the player named ManHattan. He has a char named Mercas Narmocáno. I added him into my friends list but when ever I click on his name i see the page where you Have
  Account name, gender, location, players name
  Under the players name I should be seing Mercas Narmocáno, but the only name i see is ManHattanSpy and I can not even click on that name. If i want to view his stats i have to go trhought the long way around. This is not the first time I ahve seen this problem as some players you only see their char info page and when you click on the account name you do not see anything and cant invite that person as a friend.
  Any Idea why this is hapening?

he is the first pic is to show you he is in my firned list and is friendly toward me.  The second pic shows you that the only player names he has is Madhattenspy but if you take the long way around and go in M then 76-100 you'll see him there as Mercas Narmocáno.

LORE hates accent marks and odd characters in names.  I have people on my friend list I can never view because of the way LORE handles the lookup with the odd characters in the name.

Disclaimer: I do not mean to imply that languages using these "odd characters" are in fact, odd.  They're kind of cute.

When you mark someone as your friend... _they_ get to see _your_ character's extra stats, not the other way around.

If you want to see Mercas' extra info (two extra boxes of info under the portrait and description part), you need to ask him to mark you as friendly.

Other than that, you just need to query LORE for "Mercas Narmocáno" (accents work fine these days) and then visit and bookmark his page or whathaveyou.

Oh yeah, one explanation short heh.

When you visit ManHattan's LORE profile page, you'll get his publicly visible information, however if ManHattan has opted to not make his connection to his characters advertised through LORE, then you won't see any character names on his profile page.

LORE has many intricacies like this because we need to maintain options for personal privacy.

Some choose to use those options like answering "unspecified" for their gender, or not putting in any ICQ/MSN/etc numbers, or having the email address kept private, or blah blah blah, there's a lot of that type of stuff

aye I just found it strange that I could veiw him will shearchign for his char name but when I tried to view him from my firneds list (which he has made me friendly to him too) I could not..
