One of the opal vains in the forest cave in the forest of the mist , seems not to disapear  once you have finished mining . So basicly you get a second chance . It one of the vains to the back and on the right hand side .

I have seen this happen before, it's not so much 1 vein not going away, as it seems to be 2 veins overlapping eachother, and when one is gone, the other remains

Kinda like the double house-placables issue.

This has been reported before for other mineral deposits. When investigated, it could not be observed or replicated. I believe it to be a lag issue, possibly during the respawining of the resources.

I've seen this happen with more than just mineral deposits.  Fish, for example, will sometimes stack on each other as well.

All static CNR respawns in a very similar manner, so really it's all the same system. Again, it's not something that can be forced, as far as I have seen. It seems to happen due to lag.
