We trust he will read it in good faith, and accept our plea on behalf of the city of Pranzis. *Posted throuought inns and businesses in the city of Prantz.  Copies eventually make their way into Mistone and the Wild Surge Inn*

To the members of the Society for Growth and Commerce, Greetings.

It is always good to hear the voice of the people, and how they view the reign of Lord Broegar. Know that this edict was written with the best of intentions, those being the peace and security of the citizens of Prantz. Economic strangulation was not one of our aims, and so, We offer this accomodation.

The prohibition upon oxen and other beasts of burden s had a two-fold benefit. One being the increased security of not allowing large quantities of questionable substances entering the City in an uncontrolled manner, along with the reduced risk of physical harm due to untrained or irresponsible riders. The other, was an effort to keep our beloved City a cleaner, more visually appealing area to reside. Pack animals, by their nature, are still animals and therefore are not highly sanitary. Their waste pollutes our streets and the odors clog the olifactory systems of many. In order to provide convinience to the citizenry, and still maintain a helathy environment the Minstry of Justice in coordination with the, Bureau of Commerce Expansion along with the Department of Sanitation Engineering, and acting upon a resolution put forth by the Minstry of Justice

~~To those who are in possesion of oxen, pack animals, and other beasts of burden. The Haft Lake Residential District will be cordoned off and expanded to provide a safe and secure area to store and stable the aforementioned animals and goods they may be carrying. This area of the city will be expanded and renovated with an ingress and egress area for those who wish to take their products into and out of the city. They are not at any time to travel the city streets or anywhere inside the city limits except for the designated area within the Haft Lake District or the residential zone itself. Those citizens currently residing within the Haft Lake area will be fully responsible for the upkeep in this area to an acceptable degree concurrent with that of the remainder of the City of Prantz.~~[/i]

If the Society would be so gracious as to present a petition with at least 10 signatures of those individuals who currently reside within the Haft Lake District who are in agreement with the aforementioned accord, and present themselves with a charter list of the entire memership of the Society for Growth and Commerce to Judge Rothbak at the Pranzis Courthouse. The above accomodation shall be enacted immediately.

    **Attached underneath the latest posting**

    Greeting,

As a concerned citizen of the city of Pranzis who resides in the Haft Lake district I firmly reject the notion of turning my beautiful neighborhood into an ox yard.  I will not clean up after other citizens oxen, whether those people be my neighbors or traveling merchants from afar.  While I understand that currently the laws regarding livestock and beasts of burden currently in place under the administration of the new government of Pranzis are an inconvenience to those seeking to trade within the city, I do not feel it fair under any circumstances that we who live in the Haft Lake district be forced into not only housing said beasts of burden but also into the responsibility of cleaning up after them.  Neither do I see it as reasonable that the Society for Growth and Commerce seek to turn my neighborhood into their ox-yard without first consulting the residents of the Haft Lake district.  Why should my son be forced to see the prospect of having the place he lives and plays in turned into an unsanitary place filled with the feces of other peoples oxen?

I suggest instead that the area west of Pranzis, toward Lorrindar, be used as a pasture for the oxen of traveling merchants.  I would also be willing to pay a small amount of additional tax to cover the cost of converting said area for the purpose, and maintaining the upkeep of that area as long as those merchants benefitting from the area also paid a reasonable share to house their oxen there.  Since there are no residents living in this proposed area it is likely a better option for such commercial expansion.  Also, when funding can be spared to rebuild the once proud walls of our fair city those new walls could easilly be built to include the new area.

    Dear Miss E'zoenna,
~~The Administration is very apologetic to hear that the battle for  Prantz has so sorely damaged your faculties of navigation. For this we offer the services of Lord Broegar's medical staff to help aleveiate your malaise.

The area west of the city is indeed Haft Lake, while Lorindar lies to the south.

If moving all beasts into the western quarter of the City was the intent of your letter, we are glad to hear that you are in agreement. Otherwise, the Administration has no choice but to categorically deny your request.~~

      Undersecretary Schnendel,

Firstly Society for Growth & Commerce in Pranzis is pleased to announce its renaming to the Society for Growth & Commerce in Prantz!

Asuming that your plans for Haft Lake do not result in the loss of property or possesions of any of the current landowners we are pleased to support this plan and urge the citizen of this district to either sign or add their mark here.

We invite the good citizens of Haft Lake to add their signatures or marks to the sheet below.

I live in Haft Lake and I'd like a way to move my ox in and out without getting smacked by the guards.

      Greetings again,

I apologize for the incorrect direction outlined in my previous letter, I did indeed mean the area immediately east of Pranzis, outside the eastern gate of the city, should be used for the pasturing of animals.  Needless to say I do not agree with turning the Haft Lake district into a stable-area.  If that was misunderstood by the person of keen intellect who read my previous letter due to a mistake I made in confusing my directions, I apologize.

Let me re-iterate, I don't want livestock belonging to merchants and people who do not reside in the Haft Lake district to be in my neighborhood, and neither do I wish the responsibility of having to clean up after said animals.  If my neighbors living in the Haft Lake district wish to stable and clean up after their own animals in their own yards, and the administration under Lord Broegar approves, I am not oposed to that.

Perhaps a limit on the number of livestock stabled at each household would be a better compromise to serve both the needs of the people living in the Haft Lake district and the needs of the city's commercial sector, if the government under Lord Broegar doesn't wish to use and expand the city into the area east of the remains of the east gate.  A reasonable limit might be 4 animals per household at any one time.

      With regards,

      Treana Min E'Zoenna
