Large Town Pawn shops.

Another question I have is many times the pawn shops "do not have enough money" to purchase sales.  However, they have money to purchase crafted wands, CNRs, etc.  But nothing like armor or weapons that have been dropped throughout the world.  Why is that?

Well, it depends on how much gold they've left. They are still able to buy items for like 1 GP if they have only 20 GP left, but they cannot buy items if they would give you like 25 GP. They simply cannot afford it at the moment. Wait till server reset so they got some coin again to buy your items.

This brings to mind an interesting point.

Pawn shops, especially the large ones have alot of gold at each reset to buy goods, and I mean alot, and I have found pawn shops(sometimes a few, Pranzis and Saudiria among the chief to my knowledge) be so broke within a RL day or two on several occassions to the point where they won't be able to buy a glass vial off you. And this is recent.

WHAT THE HECK ARE PEOPLE THINKING!!??

STOP THAT!!

Thousands and thousands in gold that the pawn shops carry, gone in 2 days.
Are some people really so desperate for that kind of cash that you pawn large quantities of (probably expensive crafted) goods rather than donate them to various churches where they will be of better use?

I can't name names, and I wouldn't if I could, but come on people...
Try to think of other things to do with your items rather than just getting gold out of them.

I was joking, and I'm working on it. The problem is that I am the only active player who follows Baraeon Ca'Duz. I have about 300,000 saved up and I'm saving more =P.

I don't think people should be forced to give away all their goods to churches any more than I think all characters should worship a single deity. I can see donating a bit here and there, but since I don't think most character should commit themselves to one religion, I don't see them donating all of their things to a church. If they do subscribe to one, sure... but I'm not going to support the, "what's wrong with you, give it to the faith!" argument if most probably shouldn't have a single one anyway, right? ;)
