Purchase XP for GP

After brief discussion on IRC, I suggest the following:
  Buy 1 XP for GP equal to your level (but a minimum of 10gp)
  To go from level 10 to level 11 would cost 3,200,000gp.
  The purpose would be to drain the coins out of the economy.

I see where you're going here...but...
  There are some people who gain GP at an alarming rate.  These are also many of the same people who gain XP at an alarming rate.  I don't think we want to encourage the even faster leveling that this would invariably produce.
  In addition, it favors those people in guilds and those who can go out on their own more readily.

Well I dont know about this mod but let say that the more you donate at one time the better dicing you would get to have a xp boost of let say 1000xp  (the hardness of dicing I leave to you guys) then it could be available to every one, with some degree of luck.
  1000 1d100 10 000 1d50 100 000 1d20 1 000 000 1d10
  to have the xp boost you would have to hit the pefect number corresponding to the dice

Sorry, this sort of thing is not going to happen. I understand the reasoning and the thought process but it is not going to happen. It encourages two things.

1) XP grinding
2) GP farming

It does not encourage RP but it would drain gold from the economy...albeit with some distinct disadvantages.

Besides, there's already a mechanism for turning GP into XP -- crafting.
