The Path of a Paladin: The writings of Draden Wyndright
    « on: November 13, 2006, 11:09:43 PM »
    My friends :the note begins:
I've heard a calling amongst my brethren, and must leave. A noble knight of Toran is in need, life leaves his body and he may not continue alone. My brothers tell me that he has journeyed long and arduously to complete some quest; a quest for what I do not know, but I pray that the Light allows me to ask him.

May these words reach his beloved wife; Tyrian...I know she has suffered from his leave; indeed, believed him dead, as we all did....but the Mother has not claimed him yet...not yet...the Light, I am told, presses him home...as it presses me to assist him.

May the Light guide me quickly and timely to his side.

*the letter is tacked to the door of 137 Leilon, and he turns with a determined gait toward Port Hampshire*

Mylindra and I tried to purge Storan's Crypts alone...and paid for it greatly. I took me several days to heal from the wounds and I have not seen her since. Even though my skills have grown over the last several weeks we will need to be more careful in the future.

Though, we did make it to Storan himself before we were repelled by his minions....nay, that is no way to think...thats ego and pride beginning to show through. I must keep those in check, for patients and honor are the true path to Torans light. I do not wish to disgrace Toran by setting a bad example...many of those are being set already.
