It has been a long time since Kayla has traveled the world. Now that she is back, she feels energized. She loves wiggling her fingers and speak the words to cast the magic that she has devoted a large amount of time learning. She enjoys meeting new adventurers and travel with them to unknown places to expand her knowledge and master her magic. With no more hindurance from her parents and hometown, she can pursue her dream of becoming a powerful wizard gnome. She loathes the idea of her parents wanting her to take over the family many generations of tinkering business. Hence, her hometown deems her the blacksheep of the family.
Despite her petite stature, Kayla enjoys traveling. Not so long ago, she traveled with a group of champions and heroes to the dangerous Underworld. There were intricate passage ways and chambers. The city seemed endless. She was amazed at her surroundings and fearful for her life. The creatures she saw there she had never seen before. She learned a lot from that trip. Although it was dangerous and almost impossible to survive there, Kayla somehow managed to make it out alive with a few of her companions. It took great effort and teamwork for them to somehow turn death away. The knowledge she had gained from the trip is priceless. And who knows, perhaps she will venture back one day.
