PC Despair

I'll post this now....incase my PC decides to kick the bucket all together.

Pc seems to hate me all of a sudden, took 8 tries to get the damn thing on.

So if I'm missing for Fridays Explorer's of Thalos....you know why.

If it does die on me, likely I won't be back till the January PC sale spree.

what you have to ask yourself is why would your player character turn on you so?  maybe you need to sit down and have a long talk with him.
hehehe.... yes, I know that isn't what you meant.

What is the issue? If you're willing to describe it further I think the collective computer knowledge of the community can do something to help you out.

Think I fathomed it. I foolishly had a PC "built" me....and it turns out the Windows weren't genuine. Whenever I load up, it tells me its not genuine, and lets me either "Resolve later" or "Get Genuine".
When clicking "Resolve later", it loads to the Desktop, then immediately restarts the computer. However, if I click, "Get Genuine", it will work. I'm gonna surmise it's only gonna let me click "Get Genuine" so many times before that starts resetting too.
Guess I need some updates for my Windows XP, which I can't download since I aint got an Original.

I just hope it lasts till the January sales.

*sighs, swearing an Oath to buy original copies of everything and taking extended warranty on the new PC ( computer )*

Microsoft got smart about that years ago. Usually, once it figures it out, you have 30 days.
