Could a GM move a monster please?

Theres a deadly vine right one the bridge outside Krandor coming fron the Zainge river, really nasty to load up a area and find yourself paralyzed and taking damage.

Yeah, the one in question seemed to be tracking someone, though they move very slowly, so that someone may have gotten a visitor in the night. *snickers*
  Once I explained to it that it would need to walk a really long way, it was no longer interested and allowed itself to be ported back to its point of origin, as the script had been trying to do.
