Beware... Ice is home. Belize, Costa maya, Cozumel and Grand Cayman were all excellent. Swam with stingrays... yes even after the steve irwin event and they were all very friendly, Got to climb some Mayan temples as well. I reccomend it to everyone at least once in their life to take the opportunity to see these amazing places and take in the culture.

I suggest that if you are a guitarist, or know of any guitarists at home, that you take a trip to Paracho - literally one of the guitar capitals of the world. I've never been myself, but a trip is in the works among myself and a few others to visit and bring back what we can carry. They are mostly acoustic and handmade by lifelong craftsmen who know just what they are doing. It's supposed to be a beautiful place as well.
EDIT - Bonus points for not being able to read dates.
