Actually, when the Magus Del'mar is out stalking the land, my Aeridinite cleric thinks that the best place to be is in her bed!

Nisbet would like to thank Hardragh, Kali, Toby, Arynne and the mysterious Lady Katryyne for making her first work-shift at the Leringard Arms EXACTLY like a night at Cheers.  Um ...  assuming that Cheers had scary half-giant bodyguards and stories about lichs snooping through people's underwear drawers and customers catching on fire, that is.

I have had a blast RPing with Randi and Lance lately. You two are something else and a lot of fun.

I love Randi's subtle defiance IC and the way she still maintains the fear for a powerful necromancer. I can not begin to commend that type of RP. We all want to be all powerful and tough, but sometimes you have to RP the fear that would and should be there.

That also leads to Bakee, she always does a great job when she is around the likes of Chanda, Cassandra, and Daralith. She always rps her "fear" of them in game, even though we know OOC that her pc would kill us all within one round of combat. To me that is amazing RP and it brings such pleasure to game when rping with them. There are others who do the same, and I commend you!!!

A bit of a silly one, though still heaps of fun which is why it warrants a mention.

Dezza was running a bit late for setting up a quest the other night and he sent me a PM asking if I could arrange a few things for him. The request was for a field with farmers, large holes scattered around and some small fires burning. Just change the names on some human commoners to 'Farmer Joe' and 'Farmer Ned' and such asks he.

Can Pseudonym exactly comply with such a simple request?

Anyway, fast forward to when Dezza actually turns up to run his quest (me now on as a player) and we all get into it. I am thinking he (and everyone in attendance) have totally missed that I named all the farmers after the members of the Black Eyed Peas - Farmer Taboo, Farmer Stacey, Farmer William, Farmer Apldeap ...

... only to have my day made when Hardragh starts incorporating their song titles into the party conversation.

"We must help these farmers, where is the love?"
"Time is wasting, let's get it started"
"Shut up Hardragh, Shut it up, shut up, just shut up, shut up"

Filatus sends me a tell at one point asking 'If I incorporate My Humps into some dialogue, will that raise suspicion?'

Anyway, great RP doesn't always have to be serious, can still be a bit silly!

Thanks to Filatus.

:)

Quick one for Black-Raven.

Always making fun scenario's for our characters to RP out... which... despite seeming destined to destroy Sall.... has had me laughing my butt off.

Not only that, but the scenario's she's made have led to some fun RP with other characters too.

So... big thanks here!

To Quantum and abi (yet again lol)

A very touching RP tonight even if most of the time I was just a listener.

Normally I don't write kudos for Roleplay unless I feel it is really exceptional and proper care has been taken to understand the LORE behind it. However I would just like to highlight "Chiara Laecelam'lela" as one of the best developed and fleshed out Sea Elf that I has come across, and everytime that I have interacted with her with any of my characters, her mannerisms and details exudes that of a Sea Elf.

Well done!

Thanks to all of the story tellers last night at the Shack!  The mood was just right.  Lots and lots of fun:) And for the troll that chased Peanut all the way to the gates of Hempsted......"shame on you"! Peanut stayed up all night washing her clothes!

I don't remember all the names of the storytellers but you each had Peanut scared half to death*winks*

Chiara Laecelam'lela for playing an absolutely delightful mortified little sea elf.  I love how she expressed such a horror to alien things like fire, orcs and his savage description fo forging!  She also kept very much in line with her diety's allies & enemies.   :D

Well I need to give a big shout out to so many the past few day.  Peanut, Abi, Brian, Annalee, Tegan, Voon, Varkas, Lex, so many more.  It has been great, this is what the server is all about.  Just two thumbs up.  Also all the gms that get things going sometimes.  Without the stuff you put us throw most of the rp would well be boaring.

Great RP tonight.  Thank you Mai (SilverClawD).

*Bows and waves good night*

Kudos to Lance Stargazer for playing the first actual Lawful Good Paladin I have ever met!  He encountered our goblinoid party, and while he expressed disdain for the evil he saw in us, he admitted he saw us breaking no laws and would not attack us unless we attacked first.  He then tried to use diplomacy with us and persuade us to not be so angry against the cities, and showed understanding in our own view that many from them were not as good as they claimed to be if they slayed every monstrous being on site.

This is a great change from the stereotypical Layonaran CN Paladin who runs around, sees a monstrous race, and repeatedly attempts to threaten them on sight and say things like "oh I should kill you right now for your race!" or "If I see you break a single law, no matter what it is, I will KILL you!".  It is one thing to be fighting evil, but to go vigilante about it is neither Lawful nor Good.  Lance here has been the very first paladin I've ever met who actually views the world in a Lawful Good light... not breaking the laws in the pursuit of good, not grouping with evil and not resorting to war as a first resort.  His message of peace and mutual understanding is exactly what a Paladin is all about... More than just a fighter with spells.

Kudos, Lance!
