A huge thank you and THUMBS UP to Ferrit Pandorn for helping Genna last night, and especially her wonderful verbal sparring with the Mysterious Woman who showed up after Genna's untimely demise.  Great RP!

thanks to Chaynce, Raz, and Tyra for a lot of fun and spider kicking last night.  Poor Dani can't handle Raz and Chaynce at the same time.  Too much of the same circular logic!

I wanted to thank Jennara and Elohanna for forcing a fidgety old rogue to sit and listen to some very important information.   Its a shame the trolls aren't more polite! :D

Just want to give a kudos to...

EVERYONE!  Everyone who comes here to RP and to add some life to the world.  From the World Leaders and the other long time Veterans of our wonderful (if not always perfect) world here at Layonara to the newest members of the community (even the frustrated ones) to the DMs that make everything (or at least all the cool stuff) possible to the Behind the Scene people who flesh out the world (even when we all don't agree on how, for better or worse).

So KUDOS to all of the Layonara Community.  You all make this place possible (and fun for me to play in!)  :)

I want to thank (Wee Man) Verdin Cowl and Darktanyin Dumas for a geat laugh at th end of an evening's play. It was shame that (guv'nor) Liar Muck, (Big Man) Ironfist and Huntemara In'Darsus had left the party and logged, but Verdin and duchess (Eleandilethessa Quil'lyn) were splitting up some loot between them outside the bank in Vehl, when Datktanyin came thorugh the door to the port and bumped into duchess.

She retorted to Darktanyin and Wee man joined in, in his usual fashion. Darktanyin got all prissy and Wee Man and duchess challenged him to a duel. Instead of PvP in town though, we all went to the arena as it was nearby, and then went to it there.

Darktanyin said he felt a little underpowered, so to even it up, Wee Man and duchess stripped down to their underwear and Darktanyin kept his armour on.

We also agreed we would all only use fists, so there were were, two in underwear and one in plate mail, chasing each other around the arena floor.

I have not laughed so much for such a long time, so thanks to Wee Man and Darktanyin for rounding off a great night's rp. :D

Just like to say during my WLDQ for G'ork I had  a lot of fun with all of the roleplay and situations that occured due to his actions. Dezza did a fantastic job with the details, which at one point left me thinking I had no leads what so ever, but the answer had been infront of me for a while, aswell as that  puzzle with the statues....and the fights, one or two of them I know I won't forget any time soon.

Also a big thank you to all the players that were involved, and the sacrifice one in particular made.

I had a great deal of fun last night on Lingering Shadows, although it was as deadly as it was rumored to be. :(  Kudos to all involved and especially to Acacea, who makes Ben want to pull all his hair out, strangle her, and then give her a pat on the head for being so much trouble!! :D

*A stern letter addressed to the Goblin Leader of the Red Caves outside Hlint. Copies are posted on walls, but there is no sign of where any original may have gone to.*

Dear Mister Goblin Leader,

I must point out in the strongest terms possible, that your goblins are becomg an increasing nuisance to the peaceful people and travellers through Hlint.

More annoyingly is that when adventurers are dispatched to teach them a good lesson and halt their advances, they are largely found to be penniless!!

I must say, this is a sad state of affairs indeed and should be remedied forthwith or you will be taught a salutary lesson. It is only proper that combatants carry enough trues to repay their victors as spoils of war, and you are singularly failing in your duties to pay your people to so observe these simple rules.

If you do not remedy this pitiful situation forthwith, you shall be sorry.

Signed...

//OOC thanks for this idea following some great rp from Annwyl Cadi whose idea it was. Also involved were Xanya Enyafailm and Ygraine Ursus

I have to extol the virtues of Phoenix as a dm, my heart was pounding, I was chewing my nails, nervous as a cat as Ferrit, Ben, and Jako made our way into a thieving/smuggling operation to retrieve our own goods in Jako's cdq..Great Job Phoenix, Jako, and Ferrit..a good time.   I said it in game but I'll say it here, I have NEVER had so much fun playing a thief as I had on this cdq!!:)

I was asleep before, so I didn't get a chance to post it right away, but I think it goes without saying that everyone who went on Lord Cove's quest, and Lord Cove himself, all deserve a big kudos for what has been one of the most tense and fun experiences I have had since joining Layonara.

Thank you for making the welcome for my Dark Elf as warm as possible (by almost cooking him on a spit). :D
And thank you for being tied up right along side me for principles of law alone.
And thank you for fighting to keep Edron and I off the stake.
And thank you for throwing potions at my 5 hp self.

It was a great time. Looking forward to the rest of the series with you all!

Er, first of all, apologies to all of you folks out there who are working on the MMO and have put so much time and effort into it, but...

Duchess was on her way to Dalanther to meet up with some others, and tooko the boat to Hurm, with her horse, as usual.

When she disembarked, she could not ride her horse past the captain, so she dismounted and tried to walk the horse past.

No luck.

She tried a few times, and a few other options, when suddenly, her horse started to sway on her legs and looked really unwell (seen as a series of "talk" messages" from the horse).

Duchess gave the horse some water to try to settle her, but she quickly threw it all back up again. She tried various things until eventually her horse felt well enough to travel again.

And this is what I really like about Layonara and what makes it so special!!

Lord Cove had come on, seen me travelling, and took an impromptu decision to throw in some rp for me and my horse - fantastic (once I got over the shock of seeing the horse objecting to move and reacting tot he voyage).

I really, really enjoyed this diversion and even though I was going to meet some other people, it was great fun and a great change from normal events.

Thanks LC and kudos to you for the idea.
