Are there any kinds of Arena style areas built for Layo?  I don't mean like the one in Vehl/Velensk for PvP, but arranged like the Colosseum or something like it for CDQs and DM quests or whatever.  I'm asking cause of an Idea i had for a CDQ, but it depends on the setting.  It is kinda Setting specific ATM... so lemme know if there are any in existance...

Yes, EXACTLY like that.  Where is this?  How big is it?  And is it anything more then just a...  Nice looking Tile...

Anyone know where that Picture is from?

Explore. You'll find it. Really, I'm betting you've walked right by an arena pit like this without even realizing it. There are several arena pits in cities and towns across Layo.

hmmm you should know though, that its pretty much up to the DM how your CDQ will be, it will mostly be their ideas that count.

Oh...  I thought the player had input as to how he/she would like it to go...  I thought they kinda just ran it for you...  I didnt realize that part ...

Players can ask for an overall goal, but simply asking for that end is by no means a guarantee it will happen. The GM is going to set up the circumstances, but he/she has a responsibility to keeping things consistent with Layonara, and not with ensuring that a PC will succeed with the player's goal(s).
A CDQ should be a challenge and should serve to develop the character further (as its name implies) rather than be a 6-hour romp through Layonara with a prize at the end.
Short version, you have to work for it, and even then, no guarantees.

I'm sure most DMs would be most happy if you could send them a good description of the general idea.

But remember that the DM is the one really deciding how the quest will go. He will most probably change/add a lot of things so it is no longer predictable by you (i.e. you can't just follow your own drafted plans for the quest to get the best end result... you might even fail if you do that). :)

Edit: Ewww! Beaten by Dorganath! Awwww! *Cries.*

Well i didnt exactly plan on handing the DM a script and sayin "can you follow this?"  It was more of an idea as to what kind of situation I'd like to be put into...  I dont even think I have a PC capable of applying for a CDQ yet
