I would say that, given the end of predation from nearby Hlint and its former Dragoncalled, tougher goblins on patrol are to be expected.  Though it killed Kell, he appreciated the tougher scouts.  And it may have just been unlucky rolls - scouts hit one time in two, approximately, AC 19 pre dodge.

I love the new goblin models... But they're REALLY tough. Perhaps increase the drop of ears from 1 for each goblin to randomly 1 or 2, to help balance out the fact that you'll pretty much die if you're under level fifteen and try taking on the group? *Chuckles.*

I am very glad I did not try to solo the goblin cavern for copper then.  I am a tentative soloer (at best) but had been gaining confidence mining alone in there over the past days.  That would have been a rude reality check!

Yeah..level 20 cleric, with a few buffs, nearly dies. I will try it again fully buffed and see what happens. Nice how they have more HP than beserker ogres

We have to find easier copper and iron locations now Lag on west is too much for a decent party size imho.

a friendly reminder, dont go into haven, unless you have around 20 party members

Or we could look around in other places for copper...think carefully. Why would they change the lowest level concentration but not switch around or add lowest level CNR things? Has anyone looked around before panicking that low-level things are no longer as easily attainable? The goblin wastelands are no longer in the same level range, so it's not supposed to be as easy. If it's ridiculously hard I'm sure it will be looked at, but I think a lot of people are forgetting the whole "things are different...breathe..." aspects.

Yes, I havent found any cnr around hempstead yeat (ore) I havent had time to venture far tho. The prettiness is distracting

I Didnt found that muuuch problems in red light caves... but its really hard! aswell... haven's Gnolls Fitst Attack Bonus is +20... giants at dregar have +21!

Level 10 fighter and I can solo the small camp and the first level of the caves... with Tath we went to the lowest level to the red crystal room and all the way out... It's not that tough but it's VERY fun - and the xp is very rewarding.
