Alright all, as promised, here's the change list for v3.01.  As I said before This is mostly Chongo's update, as he rebuilt most of the areas below, and shaped the combined Central/East module into one cohesive unit. Thanks also go to Talan Va'lash, Tobias and Shadowblade for their contributions.

- Magic Level has been Slightly Altered towards V3 Vision
- Numerous CNR Item Alterations

- Weather Patterns Shifted in Theme
- "Cold" areas refactored to reflect post-Dark Ages climates and V3 area changes/additions
- Tweaks to Town Criers (more on this at a later date)
- Added Honey Smoked Salmon as a craftable recipe
- Tweaked perma-death detection code to hopefully address some of the weirdness with permed characters.
- Updated greetings spoken by hostesses in taverns and inns.
- Tweaked paladin warhorse code to hopefully address some of the strangeness there with logins/logouts
- Tweaked the login code to hopefully not deduct XP when being re-killed at login due to logging out or crashing while dead
- Fixed portrait and conversation for Hilm Castle pawn shop
- Tweaked/fixed a few exploitable things (nope, not saying which)
- Temple of Aeridin in Silkwood shouldn't donate to Shadon anymore
- Added extra ship routes to Ft. Vehl to bypass places that some characters are not welcome (i.e. Port Hempstead)
- Fixed Legodia's conversation to refer to Silkwood
- Moved Ortheus to the Citadel of Toran
- Dynamic (level-based) rest timer system added
- Fixed label on Arnax ship captain
- Tweaked spells on Moss Covered Mummies to not heal themselves...and thereby kill themselves
- Realigned Aeridin's summons due to recent changes
- Sound issue in Gloom Woods seems to be fixed now (but it was random before so who knows)
- Added some clergy for Kithairien somewhere on Mistone
- Tweaked craftable horns and their summons
- Tweaked location of Malars as they were placed too easily last time
- Added WLDQ reward for Honora
- Renamed Mount Thulbane to Mount Thil due to map changes
- Tweaked Censer detection to give default summons for someone who has no valid deity set.

And...there's probably a few other surprises not mentioned, but hey...that's enough, right?

Totally digging this update guys. There are some  areas in this one that I am looking forward in seeing. Impressive stuff.

All Chongo and Dorg, nothing from me. Chongo spent 100's of hours and I bet it was close to 1000 hours *willing to bet on that even*. They did the work that the community is now benifiting from. Good job to them!!

Yeah, now I only need to find a solid amount of time to play. Thank you Chongo for your creativity, dedication to the world and the community. And thank you Dorganath for taking the time from another project to get this into the game.

I am looking forward to many many more adventures and hours of exploration and battle :D

It was worth waiting for!  You did great Chongo. And the wee little helper elves too.  I hope Pea gets to see everything one day before you guys bring out the New Layo.  Thanks once again to all involved.

- Fixed an exploit involving Unit Flags
- Adjustments/fixes to a couple CNR recipes

I'm not going to comment on the nature of exploits.  If someone was doing it, they'll figure it out. If not, then there's no worries.

I love the new rest timer.  Once again you guys have exceeded my greatest expectations.  The fact the the timer is now remembered across servers and when you crash or relog.  This is better than it ever was.  Thanks so much for being so good at what you do.

LORE has been updated to reflect the new spells and language ear system.

Those who have completed their WLDQs and have items yet coming to them will need to speak with their GM to be handed the items and told what, if anything, goes with them.  Those with rewards involving special abilities should see those abilities automatically applied.  If you don't know, ask your GM...or me.

 

The Fine Print (tm)

 * Yes, this means that some places may be significantly more dangerous than before due to things happening with the main campaign plot.  You will have to purposefully travel to these places in particular, but players should expect variability at all times. Proceed with caution and don't assume everything will be exactly as it “usually” is.

  ** This guild hall appears as any other player housing, however it has been placed specifically for the guild to which it belongs.  If you are not the authorized leader of the guild, do not attempt to purchase this house.  If you do so, you may end up forfeiting the gold you spend on the purchase. No, I'm not kidding.

I might have missed this with my sleepy eyes right now, but wasn't there talk about forced oxing of some items to reduce their power? When and how will this happen?
