Paladin war horse - To BE ACTIONED
« on: March 10, 2007, 02:59:32 PM »
I rested and logged off with my horse by my side and when I logged back on she was there but won't talk to me (in the Silkwood forest just in from the Goblin wastelands).  I can summon it on another screen but she is also still there when I come back even when I am riding my horse.  I think it was resting and logging with her summoned and not riding her.  I have saved before while riding her and that doesn't seem to cause a problem.  Any way she probably just needs to get deleted from that screen.

Got another one for ya.

The paladin warhorse is treated as a henchmen until that time when you want to ride it. Then it becomes part of you and is no longer considered a henchmen.

If you have your Ox in your party and  you summon your warhorse you will get the yellow script "you may only have one henchmen at a time" message. You cannot converse with it and it will ignore you. It will stay wherever you tried to talk to it, and logging out does no good, so not sure if other players see it or not.

If you want to ride your warhorse you have to tie your Ox down, thereby removing it from your party,  and summon Another paladin warhorse to ride as the first one still wont talk to you.

Then, once your on your warhorse you may "lead your Ox" and all will be well.
I learned this last night after leaving 2 warhorses in fort hempstead.

I did overhear one person see me as riding an invisible horse but she was in IC chat with several other characters and they told her to ignore it so not sure if I was riding an Ghost horse or not. (other players didnt see the horse but i did)?
well..I hope i helped anyone else out there.
There can be only One.

Bug Report

Descrition: Having a Ox in ones party is the same as a henchman, and will leave the Paladin warhorse unresponsible if summoned. This is due to having the only one Henchman rule. The work around below tells how to solve it. Flagging this for Nibor in anycase.

Don't forget the original post that if you log off with the horse summoned it leaves an unresponsive horse in that location.

I will take a look at the paladin warhorse issue. I don't know which files i need though, but the conversation and scripts for that and the script used when the pally logs in and out for sure.
