We're sorry you're having problems, but unfortunately it's not just as simple as "going back to the old tilesets".
As for a list, if it is called "Swamp of..." or "...Moors" then it stands a good chance of using the new swampy tileset. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell you what area you're heading into until you get there, so a list would do you little to no good. These areas are all pretty much in exactly the same place as they were in V2, so knowing that much should help you avoid them in the future. There's also the Dread Forest on Central which uses it.
Knowing where you crash out though may help us identify the exact problem, as it may not be the tileset itself (as is evidenced by you getting deeper than the first swamp areas) but rather some feature placed in that area which is in fact causing the problem. Also, knowing your platform (windows/Mac/Linux) and video hardware may help us figure out what exactly is going on. It seems to be a relatively few number of people who are crashing as a result, so again, if there is some specific thing we can point to that is the true cause of the problem rather than the whole tileset, then ultimately it helps us more in the long run.
There are fair number of areas which use this tileset, and each represents many hours of work. As annoying as it may be in the short term, it is ultimately far more useful to everyone if we can try and figure out the problems in a running module rather than rip out the use of the tileset and try to reproduce a seemingly rare problem on an isolated system. If we cannot resolve it any other way, then we'll look at reworking the areas.
