Those of Darkness...

*A parchment is tacked up in an area not quite as noticeable to the passing, ignorant eye in the taverns of Wild Surge, Scamp's Mug, and the One-Eyed Harpy. It is written in calligraphy, although it holds a familiar curve to those familiar with the writer's style.*

In dark times that we tread in, it is not always stated who we are, or what we can do. Solace is found at blink's breadth, yet with curious souls and even better eyes, it is not often we seek to find shelter in front of the others who watch all too well and remember many a memory.

I seek not to break your secrecy, as some will recall I do not hide my blessings and curse, but instead to call forth the shadowed into a gathering where questions for the newer such as I may ask and old knowledge be taught. It is no requirement, simply a place where those of the darkness may find perhaps a connection with those that are the same. You need not heed my call, I only ask for a chance we may better ourselves and know more of each other.

I will not place an immediate time and location here. Some of us, including me, won't like necessarily written evidence of where we will be at. Instead, I ask only for whatever information that is required for me to recognize you. I myself will give you what you need to know me when you come across me. If you have any interest, I would appreciate knowing I am being sought by, at the very least, a simple mark placed somewhere upon the paper. Large enough, of course, that I may find it and recognize it for what it is.

I hope that my attempt in bringing us together at least once will not be in vain. When I have been contacted by enough, I will spread by word when and where we will meet.

*Hector passes by the One Eyed Harpy, his eyes lay upon the parchment and he reads it thoroughly for a few moments. He digs through his pack for a while and pulls out a quill... he dips it in the mud and draws a beard on Kinai's sketch. He bursts into laughter after finishing and walks into the Tavern with a grin on his face*

Kinai, I am no artist to provide a sketch so that you might identify me within a crowd of strangers.  I shall attempt to describe ...

Mortal woman, feel no shame in your stare,
Gaze upon deified manhood, bright perfection form.
Pride of the Gods fulfilled with such an heir,
dream of eternal bliss therein born.

Scholar brow crowned with raven waves,
Highlight eyes of deepest ocean depths.
Rose-tinted lips entice and hearts enslave,
Exhaling scents of the heavens through each breath.

I stand astride this world arrayed in strength,
A tanned colossus cast in modern mold.
Each muscle clearly cut, defined, distinct,
Heroic figure emerged full formed from tales of old.

No flaw there seen in face or form sublime.
No sketch worthy found in prose or rhyme.

*Farros notices the board and snickers a little.  He reaches into his pack and pulls out a serrated dagger, slicing open his left palm brutally.  He smears onto a parchment with the wound, sloppily "DARKNESS!" and paints his bloody palm all over his face until liberally coated, then presses the parchment to his face, resulting in some macabre, disturbing version of the Shroud of Toran.  Tacking the incoherent blood-portrait to the board, he then proceeds to order a bucket of dwarf sledge draft at the bar without even bothering to clean himself up.*

*After some time, Kinai returns to the board and writes under it...*

I find our team well enough now. The deal? Contact me, or I you. We will meet under the cover of darkness soon...For now, I will seek. Don't hide from me, I don't bite.

//I'm thinking this Saturday, April 21st. I won't be picky about times, just when the most of us are on. Moreso, Kinai will seek each one of you out as I see you on that day. Hopefully, a real "meeting" can be scheduled afterwards. Sorry for the delay...Illness makes for some icky planning.
