*Sala Stonehill writes on Lex'or's note* Please contact me for information on a hidden cave with numerous strong undead and a possible connection with a lich. I'll spend some time at Stormcrest Crossing in hopes of meeting hunters of the undead (see Players' Calendar for Tuesday).

I can also be reached by a letter delivered to Jako Stonehill of the Angels' Guild--Sala Stonehill

*Under cover of night, fog and magical obscurement, a hooded figure in a dark coat walks through Hlint on his way elsewhere. He stops a moment and reads a notice that catches his eye.  With a quick hand he reaches up to tear it down, but stops.  He hesitates a moment longer before dropping his hand and continues on his way.  The cool night air carries the man's laughter as he shimmers and fades from view*

Some sort of creatures of darkness have been coming out of Brecht mountains lately. Moreg mentioned that people have been disappearing around Vehl, and I myself witnessed these things feasted on a fallen comrade. Not sure if they are undead, but definitely dark, and harmed by healing magics.
I'm not sure if this is in connection with some of the other strange sightings people have posted about recently.

To any who read this:I would urge extreme caution when venturing in Brecht Mountains or the vicinity. If you see a creature moving in pools of darkness, I would advise fleeing unless you possess powerful healing magics.

I hear many tales of undead, the detail escapes me for now, perhaps others may recall.

I've recently come across a few strange things - in the Ire mountains, a large group of undead seemed to be massing.  I haven't seen them since, but the group seemed to be comprised of perhaps a score of skeletons, and seven or eight of their stronger kin, who seemed better armed and equipped.  One was carrying a large black flag, around which the others seemed to rally, and they were experiencing no obvious resistance from the gnolls in the local area.

Perhaps unrelated was a strange incident in the crypts of Krandor a while back.  A paty I was with ran across a number of oddly-garbed skeletons; odd even for Krandor.  They were accompanied by a darkly-clad man - beyond this dark garb, there was little I was able to see of him.  He threw a killing spell at the party's leader, and then fled.  By the time we had regrouped, he was gone.
