Oh, I'm not much of a fan of it, myself, but... *Shrugs.* I was one of the pioneers, back in the day (you know, when the 11-year-old me found out how awesome chatrooms could be). For satire, it's wonderful.
For actual conversation, I think I'd rather write in my own blood and snail-mail it to everyone who intended to read it.
