Assasin PrC

I was just wondering if I would create a rounge or what not and want him to eventually go into the Assasin PrC what probably would be the best lvl split so I get the best amount of abilities.

I bet I can beat a whole bunch of people here who are going to tell you not to build your character according to what gives him/her the best abilities, build him/her according to what creates the best character for you to enjoy RPing.

That said, ceteris paribus, if you're asking the question solely as an intellectual exercise on how to make a really good powerbuild my recommendation is to take 0 levels of rogue and 0 levels of assassin!

Assassin is a class that needs heavy investment of class levels into it, to actually have a punch. The more Assassin levels you get, the better.

I won't go to details, since in the long run, you cant go wrong with Rogue.

That and, of course, you have to have an Evil alignment to be an Assassin.. no easy task, that.

I would agree with Pseudonym, though, that the Rogue/Assassin split is not exactly what I (or anyone) would really call a powerbuild.  Cool, yes.  But not a powerbuild.
