DMs going to far

Since when does a DM rule over like a god a player who is doing nothing against the rules ? DM orion for no reason locked up my char in jail who was fighting monsters and dying to get her last DT , sucide maybe but thats not against any rules on forums or else where.

Ban me now , delete all my posts here and every char in the server data base. I wont be subject to abuse by DMs.

If you like being treated like a turd , like garbage then layonara is the place !!! If you like over zelous DMs who think there a level 40 god in real life then Layonara is the place !!!

If you like DMs who press there personal beliefs on your char then again layonara is probaly for you !!!

me , i will have no part of a server who makes up its own rules on the fly because they simply dont personaly like what your doing.

she was using forfit frecovery , going to a zone no PLAYER was in , not bothering anyone in game going about getting her last DT. you all made the perma DEATH SYSTEM , i was just using that system to have her perma dead , i refuse to delete a char i wanted to to perm without disturbing the player base and was doing that just fine , until DM ORION  decided tO PLACE HER IN JAIL AND DEMAND I ASK PERMISSION TO fight and die against monsters.

Wheres the rule against such ? i did a search and there was none. I was subject to nothing but teranicale abuse by this DM.

YOU CAN HAVE IT I WONT DEAL WITH IT. its well known there is nothing but "" clicks "" and social circles here and if you dont know or dont belong your ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN.

Its well known DMs treat people poorly here unless you bow down to there awesome power , beg and plead or suck up.

Sorry you feel that way it is really not like that at all. As a new GM i have found that these guys and gals are really here to make sure we all have fun (and lots of it). Yes sometimes the drive to make sure everyone has a place that they can have fun in does impede on one persons actions. But I really feel it is always in the spirit of keeping layo a fun and stable place.

I'm very sorry you've chosen to air your grievance in this manner.  We have a forum for that, or you could simply PM Leanthar and go straight on up to the top. This is far from constructive, however, and sadly only presents one side of things.  There are at least 2 other GMs who have observed this behavior. Perhaps when they have a free moment they can present the other side of things.

Until then, this thread is locked and will likely remain so.  

I wish you the best of luck with whatever new place you have decided to play.  Sorry it did not work out.  The only remaining things I will say is we have always discouraged the suicide of characters, and there are other ways you could have handled this.

Solarina has been banned. Just so that everybody is clear it is not because of what she was doing. Although what she was doing was wrong because she was attacking NPC guards (which is against the rules) she is being banned for the absolute horrible language. I have included the text with the GM and her so that we are all on the same page and not hearing things from one side.
 
 A warning, there are words in here that you do not want your kids to read and that are not appropriate for a family server. (which is also against the rules). If you do not wish to read the words please stop here. I am only posting it because I want people to see both sides of this story.

And another post where a DM watched her and spoke with her then ported her out to the desert. Part of this leads up to the post above. Again I want to make it clear that it is was not what she was doing that got her banned, it was the absolute filth coming out of her mouth. That is not acceptable in any way.
