DMs going to far part 2
    « on: August 22, 2007, 04:03:09 PM »
""I am only posting it because I want people to see both sides of this story.""

Carefull use of editing a text document is not telling both sides of a story.

And another post where a DM watched her and spoke with her then ported her out to the desert.

"" WRONG I PORTED MYSELF OUT THERE USING THE BIND STONE "" after being asked politly not to attack the gaurds.  The desert was her last death spot. She was in a desert zone with no players , after being asked by the 1st DM who was rather nice about it all to not attack the gaurds , I had no issues with that.

It was after I Ported self out to desert that DM orion decided to place me in fort val's jail , because he dis-agreed with me killing my own char. You can see his own words posted in what leanther posted . What leanther failed to post was a player being put in the jail for doing nothing against server rules. It was after that that some harsh words came out yes. No you get banned here for not being a follower or sucking up to power triping DMs.

Let me make this clear I banned myself , Leanther and posse didnt do a thing , I asked to be banned.

I had my pay time ruined by a DM for not even breaking any rules , she was out in the desert attacking snakes when DM orion came into the mix , not attacking any guards , just toss her in jail because he didnt agree with the actions being done.

PS : isp bans dont work , theres a wonderfull thing called proxys and proxy surfing. If your going to edit text docs and post them , then ban the player from making any reply , id suggest adding all 250,000 plus proxy browsers and open proxys to your isp ban list.

Yep, you're right. ISP bans don't work.  We're aware of proxies, but it's not worth the effort.

As for editing the log, the only edits were to remove chatter from the quest that was going on and the effects of the profanity filters.  If the community wishes, we can attach the logs.

They pretty clearly show you attacking NPCs before the snakes (against the rules) and using abusive and profane language (against the rules), so whether or not you feel that the actions taken against you were warranted, the way you handled the situation only made things worse.

I'm sorry you're upset by this, but your only recourse at this point is with Leanthar directly.
