Be out of the game for a few days

Well hopefully not much longer :(, my nice new shiny pc carked it 2 days back and ive been trying to figure out the problem to no avail....

My assumption is that my motherboard is fried, at least its still under warranty for another month heh...

If it smells like vocational schools electronics department, then it's a gonner. :D oh, and check if the condensators have bulged or leaked, that's the main mommyboard death reason as far as I've seen.

Well its still under warranty and i can drive to the place i bought it in 15mins so im taking the lazy way out hehehe.
Going to cardboard test it to find the exact problem on sunday probably ;/.

Sometimes it powers on seems to work find, then suddenly turns off, then you take out the powercord for a bit a nd it will switch on again for a little while, like it will load windows, and go into anything then it will suddenly just turn off.

At first i thought it was the powersupply so i went and bought a new one, still same problem, so i think it has to be shorting somewhere on the mobo, or it may be something to do with grounding ;/.

Unfortunately this pc does not have nwn!

Capacitors, condensators, same thing, different languages use different version. Not sure which is more typical for english, but I'll go with capacitors then.

check your power supply selector switch
make sure you have it set for the right voltage cause that can fry it too

Thanks for all the help but im very sure its the motherboard, cardboard testing has proven that it seems :(.
Least its still under precious warranty, so close yet so far for them muhahaha even.
