Scouting Ahead.
Today I got myself some maps of the kingdom so I decided to scout out the surrounding areas.  After leaving the Port I followed the road till I came to a fork and took the east road towards Port Hempstead Fields. I shortly discovered 2 fields, one on my left harvests Cotton, and the one to my right was Barley.  Southeast Just past the Barley Fields I discovered another field that had Pipeweed - Flatbottom Leafs.

As I traveled east I noticed some smoke, as of now the maps I had gathered have not been updated in some time so I carefully headed in the direction as to not alert whoever may be around the area. I soon found what appeared to be a barricade of sorts from sharpened logs. I followed a path to the southeast up a hill and got a nice view of the camp. From what I could see there only appeared to be 3 set out on guard one carried a sword and the other two had slings. I would not recommend barging into this camp as they have all positioned themselves to see each other and in case of an attack they will all be alerted and assist in the defense of their camp.  South of the camp there appears to be a pass that leads further into the canyon however I'm not going to chance sneaking by them to figure out where it goes. Maybe in a few weeks when I can afford better gear I'll check it out.

After making it back to the Road I found that there was another fork in the road one that headed North and another that continued east and on the northeast corner of the fork was a Barn, there was nothing really special about it that I could see. After following the road north a bit I found a Fort called Wayfare and I ended up doubling back to travel further east and discovered a Path to the Ire Mountains.  Checking the sun I decided it best to wrap up and head back to Port Hempstead, as well as stopping by Fort Wayfare to look around.

I noticed something odd today as I was passing through Stormcrest Crossroads. There is normaly boy in the area out and about but today I looked around and he was nowhere to be found. I ran across a drow in the area and I started to puzzle out what happended. if my asumption was right and he murdered the boy I could very well be the next victom and I could see him sizing me up.

I greeted him with a calm voice and struck up a conversation I asked him if something seemed odd about the Crossroads to take his mind of me. I planted the seed that I had comrads and I was meant to meet them there in an attempt to discorage him and possible send him on his way however he stayed and so I tried changing the subject on anyhting but myself and why I was alone there.

To my luck 2 travelers showed up, one was rather reckless running around pointing his knife at people. I'm sur I met him before in the Crypts near Fort Vehl but he had new equipment an I discarded the thought to ask him about it choosing to distence myself from the spotlight. they actually bickered back and forth about childish slanders, I understand the Drow are not the greatest folks around but even then an insult will just get the blood spilling.

Luckely nothing happened and I slipped away in one piece with no unnessicery holes in my body. I susspose I should inform the local guards of the events that transpired so I'll stop by Port Hempstead on my way to Fort Wayfare.

Today I ended up stranded in Sooth Moors, I spent a few days searching the area when I suddenly found myself trapped in the Southeast by a movement of trolls.  I spent days sneaking and hiding often right below their noses.  When I finally made it clear I had only managed to scout out half of the area, the place was horrible damp and smelled awful.  Other than a few good looking trees a woodsman may like I found nothing but trolls.  It'll be awhile before I can finish the work I started there, I really do hate leaving things left unfinished.  I do need to take a bath though, sneaking and hiding will only go as far as the eyes and ears and I had to slop around in the mucky water to mask my scent from them as well.  Light!  I smell terrible bloody trolls.
