It seems like Trith is expanding his horizons and I need some help with where he is headed and some advice. Basically he, through his meetings with others and much soul searching has come to an impass in religion. He is definitely in his mind a follower of Aeridin, but at the same time he is not sure that his outlook fits into a true follower. I am writting this message to either clear things up or to make a change so I am not outside exceptable roleplay.
1. He has decided that to take a life at times is necessity if the deaths of those who are true of heart can be spared by taking life. This means point blank he will take the life of something that would attack on sight. He does not like wasteful, wantan killing though and sticks to mostly extremists. Now to me this does not fit in with an Aeridinite as they revere all life, regardless
2. On the other hand, he believes in the healing of others greatly. If someone shows no ill intent he will of course take care of them to the best of his abilities at any time. But that is not to mean he will try to heal up the gnoll who just tried to beat him silly.
3. Undead he definitely still feels the same about. Now this does not mean he feels he needs to be an avenger of goodness either. He is not there to run into the fray and slay all evil wherever it stands. He is about neither good nor evil but those who cause harm to others.
I am not saying this to try to have the best of all worlds. If this does not make him a true follower and just someone who believes more in Aeridin then any other god then so be it. I would love to continue to be an Aeridinite, but not if he does not fit into what he should be. Heck, he goes out and kills beetles for potions, this is where I feel my knowledge is sticky and how to make that fit into what a true Aeridinite is.
