Swamps

Everytime without fail I go into the swamps where the ginger and ginseng are just outside Hemp I always get disconnected at least once going from one area to the next.  Whether it is going in or coming out it is without fail.. any ideas what to do to stop this?

You can try disabling the 'shiny water' in the video settings menu or turn down your overall graphics settings before going in there.

The swamp tilesets, gorgeous though they are, are a bit rough on video cards.  As OSX recommended, setting your video settings lower may alleviate the problem slightly, but it remains a high-impact area.  It's not a bug, per se - just an unhappy side effect of using some very pretty tiles.

Another work-around is removing anything your character has equipped that gives off light, whether it's from a torch, Light spell, an applied elemental damage rod, or whatever.  I don't like turning down the settings, and kind of accidentally discovered that not glowing helps stop the crashing.
