today be my first step into me future.

ze boat ride from lan's port, round ze'islands of dragon, to fort velh, was long and enjoyable. me met many nice people. schooled me much in what to expect for people in mistone. i was told a'bit about ze people and places. some sites to see. i was told to go northwest to fort hempstead, now most dem be call'en hemp, in ze kingdom of brelin. from ze port, i should find others to school me in ze ways.

i hope der be some good fellows to show me ze wild places with many kindred.

i do mis'ya. you right when say others are not inviting. you be right when say i need learn y're other de language of elvian. i think the thin ones would be nice to me if zafar speak like dem. now, they walk away. ask zipp to move. no like four leg kin. yet, he be with ox kin? dez people are like you say. now i listen. now i sit and listen to all. and i learn to hear their speak. i learn like i did with you, great walter.

i listen to people talk bout sand and sell'en it. i must learn trade to survive here. the forest is good, but must deal with da two legs too.

while scouting the land, i find many wonders. i found badgers, skunks. i find wolves and coyotes. i even find giant bird with wings of a dragon. it like feathered dragon. i must find what it is called. i must speak with it.

i find food. i can live off land here easy.

i find hungry cow. horrible two legs. let cows starve. i must find way to feed them. get food and save them.

then i meet most amazing being. it called self a wemic. very nice to me. we travel together. we find rats and kill them. help lady out. this will be new friend. someday i will be like friend. i will walk on four legs too. i will no longer need to talk with two legs. i will be like my friends.

i did find way to lady silkwood. she live in house. she nice to me. better than elf kin. i like dark forest. silk witch lady say i can stay with her. so i do.

i venture more, ze morrow.

i will make this silkwood my home. hidden. quiet. with ze friends.

now i sleep and dream of ze dragons, my true friends.

i speak because they make me. they expect me to. speak is maniputable. fakable.

animal speak with body. with eyes, with smell. more honest way of speak.

i wonder in silkwood forest. try to make friends with creatures here. tuff. mean.

if only i were a dragon. then they would respect me...just like my family.

i run with dwarfs.

at first, i wandered by da self. den i met girlz. da girlz just talk'en. so i vonder. i see wemic. i see dwarfs. i follow. i find very strong and da powerfullest dwarfs. i vonder with them.

we go to arena. we fight. de win. de say no to fighten giants. so, isborn and I go vonder to zombie land. we fightem good. old nasty ogers, too. we go in cave. blue cave. nice homy cave. we clear cave. it like da home. so nice. quiet.

isborn and i nap in cave. laugh. den head back to velh. nice town. dwarfs.

i did watch wemic become. wemic become huge bear. so nice. da change. i chat with wemic about becom'en. i yearn ta becom'en spirit of me'fam. da dragon. da dragon of ancient dragon isle. yah, that will be good da.

i wait for isborn. i sleep.

*zafar wonders velh. he finds his way to the docks. at the docks, he takes a moment to watch the seagulls. he lays down with his feet dangling free over the water. he watches the seagulls fly, fight, play and feed. he yearns to be with them. free...flying...free of this earth and the binds that hold us here.

it people could only look into each others souls to see our true and inner being. not look at this shell that was put upon us by the great dragons.

*zafar stands and like a child zooms around the docks like a bird. he emulates their movements. people glare at him. he waves a hand offering them to join in the play. and laughs when they don't - to be free...then his mind shifts from the gulls to the dragons. he applies his new knowledge of birds to his vision of dragons. he now flaps around the docks breathing fire...whipping a massive tail around. he tires to climb on upon some buildings, when no one is looking, to change his perspective. he get a bird's eye view of his world. he accustoms himself to his future perspective and feels the power of his true form ... the dragon.

zafar travels this world to learn more..more about life, others, and himself. this is a great day.*

*a primal force moves within ZAFAR. he feels that he is larger than the title druid. some moves him, with in him, within the world that we is bound to walk in.

he thinks about the ill orc and the zombies wondering the outskirts of velh. he contemplates his teaching of aeridin, taught to him by his half-elf druid mentor.

how did they get sick? who cursed them? who dared break the balance of nature or is there a higher purpose? could undead by a part of nature by being anti-nature? balancing the scales all depends on the size of the tree and the hight of the view.

zafar yearns to know more. to see more. to venture farther. and he yearns to have a body that can do this.

yes, by title he is a druid. by training he is called a druid. but zafar knows that he is something more - larger - unbridled by stereotypes and labels. he wishes to be a role model to all. that we can all evolve and re invent ourselves. he will be this role model by changing his form - an external representation of his internal spirit.

zafar feels the velh port winds on his face. he sings to the birds.

he contemplates the nature of aeridin, undead, and life. do undead have soul? what animates them? magic? emotion? he plans on studying them while protecting wonders, animals and the forest. he will contain their number for as long as he can - until he gets a more definite answer about their purpose from aeridin, nature or other being. *

i speak with undertaker, near cemetary in velh. i talk. he tells me de story about crypt, skeletons, undead. he says land magical. it makes dem walk. the land rejects spirits. make dem walk.

i met doctor fella. he wants bodies ta examine. he too wants de knowledge of life, death, undead.

velh has answers for my questions. i speak more.

den i visit silkwood witch again. talk bout magic. nature. the weave that moves all.

i will do walter. i will find me place in new world. den return. dis good. i will be come, i will walter.

*zafar with his trusty animal companion goes into the woods to watch the zombie horde. when he sees people in need he comes down and vanquishes the undead and ill orc. then he returns to his hiding spot in the woods to contemplate his existence. he watches bugs crawl. he listens to the silence brought about due to the infestation of undead in the forest. i dreams about visiting other dwarfs to the south of here.

he looks into the empty ski to see no life - no birds and no dragons. hum, something should be done about this. *

i found great dragon head on side of temple. so amazing. i found diety- image of soul. my future being. now i have an idol to guide me. go in. see what do.

beings tell me ta remove me friend. why? why do dat? de me friend. de see beast and not friend. de call her "animal" or "beast". not take time to know true soul of friend. de try fight me and isborn. isbjorn stand up for me and friends.

interesting. dis why i need shift. i shift ta teach lesson ta ignorant beings. am i diff because of shift or not? i am da same. treatment tis diff.

da scare me. i just argue with being about da law. the law of friends in city or not? i need learn city laws. laws of people. laws. laws. laws. what bout laws ze nature. walter taught me bout natural law - survival, kindness. sharing. simplicity. i need tink about dis laws stuff.

otherwise, i like dis rofirein. i stay. pray for guidence.

"yes, there are dragons here. but you best be careful for there are chaotic dragons that feed on destrution. most notably there is the beast Pyrtechon. he too is a dragon but very different than our respected ROFIREIN"

zafar "hum, dis why da elf yell at me and friend isbjorn. he say no like my friend. he demand i leave. and almost fought me for it. he wanted to beat us up for walk'en ze friends. sad. i not see flesh and bone. i see soul - true being. my friend not beast nor "summoned". he with me cause he like me. i need learn more about dis "law" and i need teach people about true self - formlessness. da flesh is only a container. like the doc says, 'a container for ze soul.' i talk lots with doc. he smart. he helping me find true form."

*time goes by. zafar winds his way to hemp. not the friendliest city for his kind, but a change of perspective is necessary. he finds his way to the docks. there he lays down to contemplate all that he as talked about with others for the last few months. he dreams...about dragons.*

**zafar is in the woods meditating on life and dragons. he is trying to commune  with the spirit of the dragon.**

**he sits in the forest listening to the wind and birds upon it.**

birds. birds are the fish of the sky. if fish can swim and birds can fly, so can I.

**zafar sits. he sits feeling the world below him. feeling the wind. dreaming about the weaving that connects sky to earth. about the weaving within the flesh. he feels his body become like water. formless. changing. flowing. his mind feels the flow of the weaving that moves through all life.**

**zafar has followed the moving animals. he has found himself in a forest seemingly without zombies or forms of undead. he has found himself surrounded by tree beings, bears, and boars. there are all kinds of beings here. free and wondering. this place is a wonderful place for him. he as found a druid here - a true protector of the forest. he enjoys simply sitting in her presence and meditating. at times he listens to her songs to the wild. he sings to her and the tree beings. he hopes that the tree beings enjoy his songs. he urns that one day, the tree beings will trust he  enough to actually chat with him.**

**zafar sits under a tree near the river that flows. he contemplates the Malleability of water. he dips the drinking bowl into the water and studies how the water fills the bowl perfectly**

i be da bowl. hum, GRRR she is a great woman. the caretaker of da forest. i have a new mentor.

she teach connection ta weave my forms with nature. i be the water chang'en bowls. each bowl a new form o'nature.

i will look out for the al'noth. i will look at it with awe. not ta be it. just know it.
