Absence
« on: February 12, 2008, 02:53:53 PM »
As some of you may have noticed and likely many did not... :)

I've not been around much recently.

I have a broken wisdom tooth I am waiting to have extracted and am on a large amount of painkillers that include Codine...

Codine, to put it bluntly gets me stoned in a very nasty way and as such the energy and inclination to do anything other than stare at the TV of an evening is simply not there.

If anyone wishes to purchase scrolls off Muireann or needs Muireann/Ireth for anything, please PM me and I will to what I can in my more lucid moments.

Be certain to wait at least 3 hours after taking them before touching any alcoholic beverages... though truthfully you should avoid alcohol altogether since your gums need help clotting.

Thinking of having mine done this summer, now that I just got my dental coverage straightened out.  Then I'll spend the next couple days in a star trek ds9 marathon on the couch and zone out to Quark's mad schemes.

Not actually had it extracted yet lonnarin......They think they might be able to do that at the end of April......

The painkillers are to allow me to function day to day till then.....

I don't drink full stop on Codine.....The Codine itself is nasty enough

And no LordCove.....I'm having it pulled at the hospital.....so yes, a Doctor :)

Egads, they make you wait for 2 months before the procedure and hook you on an expensive painkiller well known for its addictive properties till then?  That's truly Lawful Evil.

I was referred for an extraction by my dentist at the beginning of December...Today was the earliest the hospital could see me...I've already been taking the Codine for a month.

Thankfully my meds are free.

And yes....our 'free' health service is LE

You already know all I have to say on the subject, so I hope the next two months pass faster than the last two did. :)

I'm so glad all my 4 wisdom teeth have been pulled out already, the pain was.. yeah, bad.

And I can't resist this, harharhar! "I am sorry miss, but we will need to amputate your jaw due to the nature of this.. situation" :p

In other words, I wish for you a time sooner than that which is 2 months from now, and a quick recovery from after that. Take care :)
