... the acolytes of the Temple of Rofirein are busy tearing down posters suggesting that Elohanna Dawnstar is a vampire.

The Healer of the Temple has issued an official statement attesting to the lady's disinclination to drink blood, to shy away from sunlight, or, in any other manner, to be a vampire.  The town criers have taken up the word, and it spreads from town to town.  Elohanna Dawnstar is no vampire.

Does anybody know how this rumor was started? While I am quite happy to see Elohanna vindicated, is it possible that a vampire is impersonating her somehow, rather than simply spreading lies to impugn her name?
