*pinned under Dalan Stoneaxe's note*

I was in no way calling your niece a Corathinte, what I do doubt is the words like corruptions and abominations. I can understand your niece is angry, but her posts could very easily lead to the death of followers and clerics by the hands of angry half bloods.
I choose to belive the words of Ireth Astendor, if Aeridin didn't want half breeds he could have closed that door years ago.

You know... I'm sure there's something wrong with the air up in the ThunderPeaks. Seems to me everyone who goes up there often has a few fights, finds a few magical items, then comes back down arrogant as hell thinking they're bloody Kobal or Milara or something and wanting to kill everyone they ever knew.

On a side note... myself and Tegan discovered this many years ago. And yes we were upset... but really... whether Aeridin is responsible or not... are we really going to argue with the will of a God?

I know the one that pinned the first note , any one calling her a liar i invite and tell me to my face she is lying .

All this fuss, why cant people just accept it and move one. Not like it is going to change even if thousands share their thoughts here.

*then takes out some parchment and starts writing a note which he pins to the board*

I am glad to see that is how a Knight of the Wyrm goes about dealing with situations he does not agree with. And then people wonder why others might look less respectful at Rofirein and his followers. I hate to know what else you would do if someone had more than a little disagreement of the exact contents of words spoken. Perhaps you should learn the truth yourself before you go and make bold statements like this one.

At least I rest somewhat easy knowing that there are others in your order who would, I think not approve of this behavior of yours.

*Barion has been send a copy of the reply Jacc make from a man at the inn , he pens down an answer and pays the man to tack it up under Jacchri's note *

Mister Jacchri ,

I'm glad your still the same , trying to put others in a bad light to "protect " your foul-mouthed "friends" .

I wonder what you would do if your beloved wife was marked a liar and a chaotic troublemaker .

I have no reason what-so-ever to doubt the words of my daughter and if you take the time to read the replies then you will see that those calling her liar first , twist their words later and agree with the outcome .

I do not intend to have a discussion about the words used , but calling my daughter a liar goes too far , specially if  later on the extend off her words is agreed on to be true .

Mind you . i say extend , not the words she used .

It's a good thing you can rest somewhat easy and i'm glad that after a long time you took the time to come out of your woods and try to put some oil on an extinguishing fire .

Barion .

Your daughter is mislead, letting her anger take the better of her. Aeridin has never said that those of mixed heritage are corruptions nor has he implied such. Just as she wrote of what now has happened is unjust, so are the attacks on him and his church.

If you find my words offensive, and wishes to take the law in your own hands to end my life, then I will go where you desire to meet me.

#1) Stay in character and don't let your OOC feelings influence your IC decisions...very important. This is for everybody and is not reference #2 below.
#2) Barion I am very surprised (and disappointed) to see a Knight of the Wyrm act/state things like this in public (or in private for that matter). This is not staying IC and seems to be your OOC feelings coming in to play here. You need to stay IC and play the part of the Knight of the Wyrm...this is not representing them properly and you (the player) know that. Stay IC please.

*Dorena walks by and reads the notes, pondering for a moment. Then she giggles slightly and mumbles to herself. "Why does everyone I am already marked as a troublemaker?" Without leaving a note she walks away again.*

*In Audira, Honora runs into a small gathering discussing the note which is relatively free of the accompanying side notes and comments.  Discussion ranges from "good, folks should stick to their own" to "poor souls who can never know the love of a child".  At the last comment, she speaks.*

Never know tha love of a child?  I got three now, an' another grown.  Not from my body, sure, but anyone with a big enough heart an' even a wee bit of coin kin raise one.  Orphans all over this world, needin love an' a roof over their heads.  Why all tha fuss bout bein able ta birth one?

*Two townsfolk note her skin and fangs and leave in a hurried huff.  Three others stay, all women, all hoisting woven reed baskets of colorfully dyed laundry on their hips.

"And you'd support this?  You'd not exist if it had been but a generation earlier," one says in speech punctuated with soft h's and harsh vowels.*

Well, firstly, don't see as I'd have much choice.  I mean, gods, an' all.  Not like I could stamp my little foot an' stop it.  Second, iffn it had happened like ya say, wouldn't be havin' this conversation so...*Honora shrugs with a smile*.  Plenty o' gods out there doin' stuff ta git angry with, I'm guessin.  Don't see tha point o' gittin' worked up over this.

I'm assumin' tha writer thinks Aeridin wants us half-folks dead an' all my experiences say that ain't so.  *She pauses again, thinking, as the women mutter among themselves.*  Any o' you ladies got any inklin' of that bein' tha case?

*They shake their heads, looking at each other.*

Then seems it's jest a "what is".  Aeridin don't want folks makin' babies outta dwarves an' elves, that's his business.  *The women, all human, giggle a moment at the thought.  Honora smiles again, and they wander off toward a public fountain while she stays a bit longer to read the rest of the notes on the board, occasionally noting something in a leather-bound journal.*

Shiff wanders past this ever growing pile of insults, accustations, arguments and points and sighs.  He's been reading this as time went on, even watching those who write these things from afar knowing, regardless of the author's side, things will just keep piling up.  He sighs at Barion's threats, smiles at Ireth's reason, frowns at Abigial's pain, and scoffs at those only making more trouble.  In the end he just walks off, knowing full well that even though this affects him not, that the forces of Chaos will only grin and rub their hands together at the controversy brought up by a Pink Haired Girl's Pain.

//in a neat, measured hand

My friends,

Lest we judge each other too harshy for words written here, think for a moment of the pain suffered by those who will now never see the physical manifestation of their love as they had longed to. Such pain may make fools of the strongest of us, may it not?

It is true, that one result of Aeridin's actions is that those of us of mixed race may no longer bear children - and that no more of mixed race shall be born. However, I ask you this:
The Lifegiver has always been a source of healing an light in this world. He teaches us to spread healing as best we can, with an even hand. From the warrior who suffers a sword blow, to a child who falls from a tree, many seek out his clergy for a healing that is freely given and well trusted.
Would this God knowlingly inflict such suffering upon the peoples of this world, if the alternative were not far worse? It was to save us all from a foul corruption that this was done and, while the price may be high, the price of inaction was higher.

Do not forget, we are but mortal. It is not always given to us in this life to know or understand the thoughts of the Gods. I shall, and have, weep for those children that cannot be, but I shall give thanks to Aeridin that countless other children were spared the touch of the Corruption.

Walk in the Light, my friends, and find what solace and healing you may.

I think what we are forgetting here is that the halfdragons of the cult are being created with or without his grace.  Demons and archdevils NEVER needed his grace to crossbreed with dark magic in the first place... they come from a plane in which he holds no domain at all.  It might have been a nice idea at first, but old Aeriden overestimated his own importance in the main scheme of things; for even in denying his grace, he forgets that the graces and dark mechanations of others will easily suffice.  He can no more stop this corruption of Corath's by stopping his grace than Toran could stop Pyrtechon's rage from burning by dropping his sword.

All he has done is stop the half elves and Aasimar from breeding, and a handful of half orcs who were on our side already.  Archdevils never needed Aeriden's gift in the first place, they're not mortal and many of them have power rivalling and even surpassing those of he.  The half-dragons of the Green Cult are wrought from dread ancient necromancy and transmutation of Milara's, and anybody else so choosing to create an abberational monstrosity need only pursue transmutation as an effective solution.  All he has done, if this be his will at all, is to stem the flow of good races from mingling.  Evil will thrive, has always thrived and grows now unimpeded regardless of Aeridens wishes or current status.

So please, for all the faithful, spare us the "Aeriden's Divine Plan" idealism and face up to the doom at hand.  Fact of the matter is that a high up in your own clergy is a Corathite spy spreading discord and hatred against your own god and church.  Deal with the dragon in your own backyard before you complain of the barking dog of your neighbor.

Do not confuse simple fate and misfortune with Aeriden's will.  You'll find history proves that infallable gods fall hardest.

The only thing funnier than reading all these cursings on his name for events which he has no power over, are reading the praises to his name for the very same events which he has no power over.  It's like praising a dead dwarf for the flies on his brow.  If you want to thank or blame anybody, seek Milara and Corath.  And if you Aeridenites wish to cast anger over any despariging your holy god's name, try first with the clergy member who's telling distraught would-be mothers that they're abominations.  As I said, deal with the dragon in your own backyard first.

*A hooded figure adds a short note*

He who goes by the name of Farros, you sure seem to know what you are talking about.
Archdevils? Half-dragons of the Cult? You better back your claims up with facts, because now all they are are hollow statements based on assumptions, presumptions and fear.

Know of what you speak, before you speak, instead of relying on hearsay and rumormongering.

*The note is signed with the symbol of Aragen*

Aye, Ask your good friend within the clergy who examined the vials... oh wait, you can't because that good, wise servant of Aragen turned into a green scaled beast with wings and was shortly therafter taken by the cult.  Do ask around, my good Aragenite.  It can't be that your ENTIRE clergy has their heads firmly stuck within the ground.  You sit there in your study and rely on the rumors and hearsay ofrom the tomes which are fed to you, I will deal with your facts as they come, at the end of my axe, and see the events of history unfold by my own eyes.

As for hearsay and rumormongering, methinks that is best left to those who sign their words with another's symbol instead of providing a name of their own.  What servant of the god of truth and knowledge hides behind anonymity?  Seems to speak more of subterfuge and trickery.
