How much, roughly, would it cost to set up a magical scrying pool in a home?  Just a ballpark figure here?

I believe what he means is along the lines of "Can Pyyran afford to fund it?" *grumble*

;) [/joke]

There's a placeable housing deed for a scrying pool that you can buy from the furniture vendor. I don't know what the price is.

However, if you're looking for a functioning CNR device, it will not be done.

He means a Scrying Pool, not an Enchanting Pool. Something that would aid in seeing with the unseeing eye and all that.

Then look at the first half of my response.  There's a housing deed for this already.

Hm. So it's functional, and all helpful and such? Nifty. By that token are the housing placables also, in the game world, fully functional? I understand the balancing issues making them not functional for "the crafting system," but they work, in-character, just as well as any others?

Mechanically, the scrying pool does nothing but look nice. If a GM is willing and available to support the effort, then yes, you can use it for scrying.

Hmm.  I completely missed the housing deed, and thus foolishly began a thread to which their was little point.  >.>

Beware...! Beware the feet set onto the Path of Eyes! GMs can be maliciously happy when players decide to mess around with scrying! :P
