Removing Visual Effects

Just curious, I have an electric visual effect on one of Flynn's swords. Anyway to remove it? I tried the contraption at the Inn, but that just removes light.

You could ox it. But if you have an Elemental III or IV on it, the visual comes automatically, and there's no way to make it go away. You can replace it with another, but you can't remove it.

go to the scamp mugs
get a black onyx and 400 gold I think
use the device by the door to the kitchen

the visual should be gone, but not the enchantment

No, Hellblazer, that thing only gets rid of light. Not visual enhancements.

Visual effects can only be removed by downgrading to a I or II rod, or putting it in an Ox. If it's just the visual effect... uh... effect, then just ox it.
