The Path of the Hired Sword Master

    Journal Entry 1

I have been adventuring with a man named Lesarus. he is paying me well to serve as his body guard. At first i did not understand why but through encounters of various different people and their hostility towards him i begin to understand why. I was nearly left dying in a cave due to the fact i was Lesarus's guard. I can only imagine the hardships ahead. So now i begin perfecting my swordsmanship the only way im going to survive as his guard is to be the best.

I remember my training when i served in the militia and have begun mastering those sword techniques, every day i train with my blade whether it be in or out of battle. Im beginning to notice a cleaner strike against my foes when i escorted lesarus to collect some gems for his craft. My sword feels so light now.

      Journal Entry 3

Today i ventured into the red-fang goblin clan caves seeking to better myself both in battle and become more in tune with my longsword. After fierce battles, and much blood shed and lost i am beginning to feel like my sword is becoming apart of my own arm.

I find myself in these  cold caves again. Lesarus is still trying to find something of value down here. I really wish he would find it and we be rid of this place. He is keeping some strange company as of late aswell. some smug hooded figure and an idiot dwarf that seems so preoccupied in drinking cheap mead and cleaving skulls he barely notices the surroundings his is in. The hooded man threatened my coin ticket. It was nearly his last words. lesarus can be so merciful sometimes.

Today Lesarus questioned my worship to rolfirien. I have barely even mentioned him as my god. let alone made any devout prayers. I keep telling him he was my parents god. not mine. He tells me there is a god worthy of my worship and in time he will show me. I must admit it has sparked my curiosity.
