Yeah, the "Marked In-group" :p has put out a call to get others involved, actually several times, in one form or another, but the most recent one, as pointed out by Script, is a general call. And I was really surprised that I only got one response to that post. One.

Is involvement low because the info's not out there in the world and the "in-crowd" is being exclusive, or is it because people are just doing other things, and choosing not to be involved (for whatever [valid] reason, timezones, RL, feel like they couldn't contribute meaningfully, etc.)?

And hey, Lynn1020, Emie's been on at least one plot quest that I know of. Of course, that doesn't mean she really knows what's going on, heh. But hey, Emie and Steel are due to meet up in-game soon, eh?

Ya, Thanks. I didn't know If I could jump in or not, and I didn't want to intrude. I'm actually used to invitation rather than barreling in. (parents drilled that into me, sorry folks.) I would love to join a plot quest.... I think it would be awesome, but just to make sure, what time is it for the east coast? and how long? I can either join the plot quest, or finish up Milty's quest, and both is pushing it in my case. I'll be really lucky If I can do both. (I'm usually not allowed to do much in the mornings except work or watch news. :D)

I am really glad I made this post! I had no idea that it was player driven. I was waiting for quests in my TZ that I could attend. Now I know that I can kick off something and gather a group to deal with it. I dont think this was common knowledge before this post. So once again thanks to Pseud, Osx, Script, and Dezza for helping us understand how this is structured, where all the background info is, what are key upcoming events, and how to get involved.

I have made a post in the Dragon Storm forum already to kick something off. Cant wait to see what comes of it :)

For some reason posts made in the Dragon Storm forum dont show on the home page under Recent Threads. That may also be a reason why some of the posts are being missed.

This one, I think, which, to me, has the appearance of something shady that could lead to very messy death very easily.  Intellectually, rather than gutly, I know that even things on the level can require secrecy (loose lips sink ships, right?), so that's not really all that shady-looking.  Still, it does ask for crazy people, both IC and OOC, and I don't think most people think of their characters as any sort of crazy (though, y'know, adventurers, c'mon!), so it's not really that surprising that there were few responses.

I did not know that these were PC driven. Wren has something to go look into :)

Nice thread - thank you Jrizz for starting it. It probably clarifies many things we normally take for granted.

Dezza's post about the player driven-ness of the current plot is 100% on the mark. There are numerous players out there, who can tell you a great many things about what is going on - especially in Kuhl - and about the 'why' of it. If it's not the first one you speak, ask another - or ask him if he or she knows someone who actually could know something. Send this person a PM and ask for a meeting. Now the ball has been brought into motion.

Thank you Scriptwrecked for posting all those informative links :)

I hope to see many for the quest tomorrow.

Cheers, Harlas
