Made a few new rings with me last batch of diamonds, and in redecorating the home fer the younguns, I come to the conclusion that furniture is expensive. So I'm putting some of me latest wares up for auction. The lense retail price is just under 12,000, so I figure I'll start the bidding at 50% for a good intro price to whet yer whistles and we'll go from there. This fine ring has had its gemstone mined from the Rift by yours truly and enchanted by the careful hands of Timulty Keel to bestow a magical sense of smarts, logic and comprehension. Its gold smelted via only the finest in Dorandite Dwarven craftsmanship. It holds the power to help increase reading comprehension, mathematical skills as well as an insight into spellcrafting theory, perfect for all ye forgetful wizards with your magebooks full of notes and dirty limericks. Can also help the minds of the mentally handicapped to some extent, though bear in mind that there's only so much one ring can do in the cases of the futile. (the Klugger clause) Note that while the ring may increase spell aptitude and reading and mathematical comprehension, it is no substitute for a proper edumakation. Literacy, Spellcraft and Lore while being improved, still require a minimum of at least some training and exposure if one expects to improve upon such skills, otherwise everybody will just assume that yer ah knownothing knowitall, and gods know how hard it be to shrug off an oxymoronic reputation. Great gift for wizards, storytellers, inventorfolk and gibbering idjuts!
