For the first time in many years Layonara players everywhere in the world are getting well needed sleep. With rest, exercise, and good eating we can take over the world hahahahahahah!

*an hour and a half later*
I think i've come up with some workable solutions to the global credit crisis and how to alleviate tensions in the middle east.

Whilst bored last night... I was tinkering with a car battery, a thin sheet of plastic and some copper wiring....
... I seem to have invented an Anti-Gravity drive.

I spent the day yesterday sitting on the floor cutting things out, tinkering and fighting with my serger until it finally gave in and worked for me, and making diapers
and today I get to do it all over again!

I spent about half an hour trying the NWN2 single-player again, and then went to bed.

Keppli and Rockhead have been out around Cardiff looking fer Q, we have found some yellow mushrooms in the graveyard nearby but cant find any aloe and there is no sign of greenstone anywhere abouts. The guy in the DIY shop frowned when we asked fer new picks and rolled D20 ter try and pick them up. Rockhead failed and got kicked out the shop fer crying "Damnation"..........
when is the server back on please?

Spent most of the time playing phone-tag with utilities departments, getting everything signed over to my name by the 1st. Funny thing about utilities, is that it seems that all of the private corporations like cable and phone are easy as heck to set up. You can call them at all hours of the night, they schedule appointments at least an extra 2 hours after you get off work, and it only takes a single phonecall to get an account set up. Yes sir, right away sir... bing, bang done. Then there are the government owned utilities and those with huge monopolies in the area, water and power. For these you can only call during the middle of your workday, (9-5 when you work 8-6), in order to set up a new account you have to take time off work to go there in person to their office in city hall so they can check your ID, and even then they wind up sending you home if you dont have the right "proof of residence". So I take the morning off of work to go to city hall and get the water in my name... they tell me that they need to get a copy of my newly signed lease before they'll do anything. I go home and scour the house to find that my roommates decided to hide my copy of the lease which had been out on the kitchen counter so I'd remember to bring it in the next day, finally found it but took forever. Show up at their office with the lease in hand, and wait, they not only need to see the lease, but they need a photocopy of it as well! So I point to the photocopy machine behind the clerk and say "well there you go, just stick it on the glass bed and push scan..." "We're sorry sir, but the photocopy machine is for administrative duties only..." "Well what the **** do you call THIS then? The bloody application even notes a 15 dollar ADMINISTRATION FEE on it! How could this not be an administrative duty if there's an administration fee tacked onto it?" So then they tell me to calm down and call in a cop to point a taser at me. So I leave quietly, go to the 7-11 down the street, put 10 cents in the copy machine and push scan. Now I need to go to the same office again, and take another morning off work tomorrow, just so the gubment could save a dime.
When public workers make it such a bloody fisted ordeal just to take your money from you, no wonder the govenment's in debt! Rather than place a document on a photocopier and pushing scan, they wasted about an hour and a half o clerk man-hours and half an hour of police man hours, just so they could save 10 cents in ink and paper. Meanwhile, that same clerk is probably abusing the copy machine for making personal flyers during work hours.
Meanwhile we pay 15 bucks a month for trash collection, and the lazy bastards dont even take more than 3 bags a trip. So I've decied that all of the excess garbage from moving this week will be dumped off on the front doorstep of City Hall. And I'm keeping the bag too, as it cost me around 10 cents.

maybe you should move to montreal where the water is paid by the building owner and not the tenant and the heating is with the electric bill that you don't have to go to the city hall to get hoocked up even if its a governement institution that provide the power.
oh and not to forget the semi free health care.
hum since layo has been down... not done more things that when my computer prevented me from playing... so music.. eating.. sleeping.. working.

well, since it went down, I began messing around with the toolset... I'm trying to set up a simple quest, and it doesn't work. How do you get the persuade rolls to work during the dialogue?
*edit* for some reason or another, I never knew how to make waypoints until a few days ago...

I actually put some work into my essay, Spanish homework and finished my summer reading and the log that went with it... did my chores thoroughly and I sat down at the computer and forgot there was no Layo! Now when I sit on the bus onto and away from school, I have nothing to look forward to at home except getting easy levels on NWN single player or playing flashgames on Shockwave.
Take your time on the signatures though, I'm almost level 40 on Hordes of the Underdark (without the debug mode and cheats)!
