My ox was killed.
« on: May 24, 2009, 09:14:00 AM »
So I'm walking to Leringard.  Along the trail that the ogres before Krandor like to harass I am attacked by them but I didn't go off the trail they were literally waiting there for me.  I killed them but they killed my ox.  Just wondering if I can get the Ox back.  I wasn't sure where to put this request so I am going to ask a gamemaster wheree I would normally put this.
Thanks,

P.S.  Time of the accident was within Ten minutes of
9:05 EDT
1:05 GMT

Hi there,

A better place to put this is in Disputes and requests in here. Please follow the format that it suggests by following this format. I vhope that helps.

When the ox dies, it leaves behind the pack with all your contents, if there were any. If you were able to retrieve the contents, then the cost of a new ox is 80-100 True and is neither a burden nor something that the GM Team is in a habit of returning.  Just buy a new one.

If you did not or were not able to retrieve the contents of your ox pack, then there's nothing for us to restore to you.  The database for an ox pack is deleted when the ox dies.

Well thanks. It definitely is not a money problem but as that is the safest way to get to Hlint, Fort llast, Spelgard, Leringard, Haven, Krandor etc I am wondering if this is an update that they put the ogres on the path or if someone ran away and they ended up there.  Well some of the level 1-6 and even an unready level 10 mage can be slaughtered by the Ogres.

No, we don't put spawns on the main paths just to get in the way of people.  Someone dragged them there most likely.
