Housing of a permed character

First of, I want to reassure everyone that this is not about any of my chars

Was speaking with a player today who is looking for a house on west and I remembered the house of Trenton.

Is it possible for a character to buy off the house of a permed character through the assistance of the gms, at a cost pre established by both players? Ie yeah donate this amount of money to this charity or church and I'll back it up or something like that?

I guess that depends on what you mean by "buy off".

If Trenton's house is not subject to a will, my understanding is that any current "lodgers" have first dips to buy it at normal price, otherwise it goes back on the market.
