It is with heavy heart that I report the finding of one of your cats, albeit by accident.  Sadly as the animal attacked us, and was entirely resistant to my song of holding, one of our party had to dispatch it before it could rend me to pieces.

I did take much care in skinning the animal as you advert said "dead or alive", although I would assume alive would have been preferable.

Let me know where we can meet if you wish the skin.  My companions in this inadvertent hunt were Daniel Poetr, Ranewin, Gurnohrm (and that's the closest to the spelling I'm likely to get), myself, Shiff Dragonheart, and a lady elf named Autumn.

I found your last cat.  Unfortunately it had attacked a satyr out of fear, was wounded and so I had to put it down.  I have evidence of it and am returning to Vehl with all speed.
