Cruelty-free silver and coal
« on: October 21, 2010, 12:53:26 PM »
Andrew is in need of silver and coal, but after hearing about giant troubles in Sedera and because of his friendship with guild-mate and half-giant Gurnorhn, he's looking to negotiate for it rather than going in with a group and killing the tribemembers.

is there a gm with both time and interest in overseeing a short player-initiated event to attempt this?  so far Andrew and Gurnorhn are in, which makes it a late edt event.  others are welcome with the caveat that Andrew and Gurn are final say, i.e. they're not going to invite someone who would just start swinging.

understand that "no" is a possible, even probable outcome, as well as battle and all that it entails - what we're looking for is the opportunity to try.

/// I'm tempted to help with this, but I'm going to wait for Aerimor to weigh in as he's done a lot of work with the desert giants of Sedera as of late, and he may have an idea for this. ///

I know a few places for coal, but every one involves killing something and so long as we're attempting this, might as well try it for both since both resources are guarded by giants.  I'm not taking Andrew to Aeridin or anything but he's had some conversations with Gurnorhn that have shaped his views a bit, so - there you go.

however if the coal side of things is too much, I'm fine to drop it and focus on the silver should it get run.

//If you are unable to find someone to help with this, I will help.

But the giant 'group/tribe/whatever' that I am running in the Audira region are _not_ miners and have no members involved with silver mines.

Therefore if anyone wishes to run anything involved in this, they should treat the giants in the same regard they otherwise would have before.

If a DM wishes to release any information to the PC's in relevance to my Giants in the near region, just send me a PM and I don't mind making something available to be on the table for release.

If for some reason PC's wanted to seek out my Giant Tribe, send me a PM and I will handle that personally.

If Milty nor anyone else wishes to do this; I can make some free time next weekend.

I'm thrilled with any of you to run it.  I'll pm whoever steps up with our prelim inquiries.

thanks very much!
